Hi all,
Need suggestions for ampnto drive wilson sabrinas. Budget is 10-12L .

Try to get amp. rated to drive 2 ohm loads. Very important, else you will not be capable of hearing tight low frequencies that the sabrina is capable of.
I have compared a pair of higher end amps. recently, luxman m700u and Symphonic line kraft, and the symphonic line is the clear winner. Consider the luxman m900u which is rated for higher current, but not sure if it will be able to match the symphonic line kraft (general impression I got from other forums is luxmans are not the tightest when it comes to low frequency ranges).
Also Dan dagostino classic series, boulder 1160, pass labs x series, and higher powered xa series will work well. All of these are available with indian dealers.
Excellent speaker, enjoy.
Cheers,
Sid

Dont have a very high budget. 10 to 12
I think dagostino classic should be in this range plus or minus, Symphonic line kraft should also be in this range, boulder I am not sure and pass also I am not sure since local dealer prices (pass) relative to international pricing is very high.
Cheers,
Sid

Saurabh, what amp are you using currently? What is your source? How large is the room? Any room treatment already in place?

I had a krell integrated with dynaudio bookshelves . Speakers changed now .. looking to change amp.
Currently source is Vpi turntable and a node2 streamer with audiolab cdp/dac. Since was in bedroom earlier no room treatment . Have now shifted to living room. After installation will probably do some room treatments . Not sure yet

Does it have to be available in India? Are you looking for a tighter bass or a bit of a romantic sound? My immediate suggestion is don’t spend more than 3-4 lakhs on your amp. Understand the speaker first and then jump to a higher level amp. Ideally buy used. Once you are clear what sound you want from your Sabrina you’ll be able to take a more educated call.

What genres of music do you listen to?

Which Krell integrated is it?
D’Agostino with the Wilson's will be fabulous imo. Have heard them together but not compared it with other amps.

Schiit Ragnarok....just kidding there. On a serious note consider the T+A stuff. T+A probably will suit it the best with their hv technology. This speaker needs an amp that can manage a 2 ohm load as Sidvee has said.

You could get a pair of benchmark abh2....That would fetch you tons of VERY clean power at about 6000$ not including import costs.

The only one time I ever heard a pair of Wilson's a similar setup is what I saw, with each speaker having its own dedicated amp.

Why not buy it with whatever it is you heard it with originally ?

Been highly recmmneded the ASR Emitter exclisiv.. anyone here familiarr with it ?

It’s an excellent amp. Have not owned it but heard it several times

Magico and Ascendo. The ASR is very musical and can easily drive your Sabrinas

I didn’t understand the hmm:)

Ascendo was their top of the line. Magico was their second level from top. Price wise these speakers would compare with Wilson Alexia
