I went to Croma, Bangalore (near Forum mall in Koramangala) this Saturday and saw 3-4 LCD/LED TVs which were Croma branded. This was the first time I saw or heard about them. The picture quality seemed good but there was too much noise, even in the bright areas. It looked like sand vibrating on the bonnet of a car (that is the best analogy I can think of). The prices were competitive too. Has any body any experience with them?

all those are chinese reassembled items at low prices.. keep them side by side of even a low end branded lcd/plasma of any model and they what s***t they bring to a hd video..

I purchased croma lcd and I have very good experience with it. Picture quality is very good, generally we are looking for brand name only but they are charging more in that name of brand overall there is no major difference in all electronics.

i Have a croma 47" lcd.

you need to understand what you are buying and not expect any miracles.

for eg - it does not play 24fps video

it has also got extremely poor sd upscaling so watching sd dth is a pain.

for my purposes, wher I do not use any picture processing and feed it hd content, it does quite well. it functions well in a brightly lit room and while the black levels are not as good as my panny 32x24, they compare very well with my lg 37LCR. fast motion is okay and ps3 games are quite playable.

is it the best 47" tv out there? not by a long stretch! but for the price, and for the expectations i have (casual hd viewing, ps3); it performs quite well. sd viewing is now better since the tatasky hd+ upscaler is better than the tv's

ps - I examined an lg and samsung 50" plasma fullhd as well, but the reflective scene and the poor performance in bright ambient conditions ruled it out.

Inspite of buying croma ,One can defintely go for philips 2 .as many member in forum ask for philips led and Lcd .
