Denon x4800h new humming noise

ok so if you see the video i can now confirm that if i pick up bluray player on my hands and it is not touching the tv unit furniture there is no humming in denon. And if it is lying there inside and while there is no connection to power outlet of bluray and also i removed hdmi from behind of bluray player there is hum in denon. This is really weird how can a wooden furniture cause this?

Can you try another socket in your house that is completely independent of the phase you are currently using?

Also try a direct socket connection. No ups, power strip or anything in between. Straight to the plug.

Also, I would not waste any more time. Report the issue to the dealer. The more you delay this, the less receptive they will be. You don't need to go about explaining the cabinet versus no cabinet positioning. There is no connection whatsoever to the hum that is being caused. Tell them there is a hum coming through the speaker. Send someone to look into it.

Tried another socket same result if lying inside same place. There is hum only in avr not speakers. One thing is that when ibseich on power socket but not actually swiching avr on and i touch it on front plastic or top of avr there is some weird feeling i think its static electricity .

Inform the dealer immediately.

I removed every plug but did not help. But i put bluray player out it was not touching tv unit wood there is i guess no hum . Can you tell whats is happening

Bluray players stacked on the an amp can induce hum, doesn't happen with all players. used to happen with a panasonic one I had but doesn't happen with Oppo

When both Panasonic and avr both are kept on the floor and connected there is no humming? The humming is audible from the speakers or is it the avr unit that the humming is audible from?
Hi i actually removed everything from denon and put it out immediately after pressing power button on front there is humming audible . I also tried in my other room still same. Nothing to do anything now with bluray player or any other

Okay. Thats was not clear to me earlier. When you say 'hum' that usually refers to a hum heard from the speaker.
A slight hum can be heard from the electrical transformers but only if you put your ear right next to it. Not otherwise.
To be honest though, it starting to feel Denon are playing the cheap card where they should not. Cause my old 3000 series AVR has no hum at all, even if you put your ear right next to the unit. Its dead silent.

Its been going on from past 4-5 years, at-least with the 3000 series and below.
Cheers,
Sid

when i first start it i mean press power button on front it is clearly audible may be transformer has this shit. then it gradually decreased but always there. i will try to make a video when room is completely silent in night stay tuned and also it is warranty till april 2025 i think i should force them to check it

So the humming coming from transformer. Basically the core is vibrating. Therefore it's a faulty transformer.

Profx are v professional.when i bought 3600 denon from them there was problem with the audessy calibration which was getting stuck at 90%. When I informed sethurao from profx NXT day i was asked to get the unit to them.without a word they just replaced with the new unit with correction in the bill .
