and sent me a specs fill up xls,i gave the specs ...........

Did you try Miracle? I got a decent quote from them
for a 300VA toroid for my Mauro amp, before deciding
to go with a local vendor. The contact person was
Ms Vasanthy (email [email protected] ).

Instead of going via EBay for a Chinese unit, you could try the Peter Daniels kit for a similar price, and get the benefit of support see:

Also - instead of a power supply, why not use a 12V battery?
