I tend to agree with you on your recommendation of Flipkart over Snapdeal. I had placed three orders on Snapdeal and they were all delivered on time. Before the last order was delivered I had written to them that I preferred to exchange the order with another item. Their order site says that they have a 7 day return policy with no questions asked. But now I have been informed that they do not have a policy for exchange of goods. So buyers beware of this fact. You live and learn all these fine points. The net result is I will never buy from them again.

I bought "Hobbit-3D", "Imax-Under the sea-3D" and 3movies combo of "Desparado / El Mariachi / Once Upon A Time In Mexico" so far.

Got it within 3 days. :clapping:

Only issue is that no bubble wrap, simply a plastic coated with snapdeal logos. It can't protect the corners and the new looks gets spoiled.

You can return the goods, right? Can't that be done? It is the same thing, only that you'll have to wait for the refunds to come back. Then buy the product you want as alternative.

The third one also is not something controversial or something overtly full with adult content. So even if there is some cuts, the quantum will be very minimal.

Anyway, if you want the original, uncut content, then go for the US version, specially for the movies, which are rated as "A".

I meant for the movies rated by Indian censors as "A", it is better to go for the US versions and most likely they will be rated as "R" there. One can also look at the possibility of getting the unrated version released in US for home video for such movies.

Interesting. Actually legally they can't do that. They might be having the old price in the system. Most of the DVDs are now being re-released by all the distributors in India for less than 200, and for some it is even less than 125 or 100. I got few recently.

Bought evil Dead Blu-Ray from snapdeal For JUST 500/- (Actual Price is 999/- ) & it is NOT CENSORED! It is same like UK version of 85Mins. Plus There are over 2.5 hours of Extras same like UK version.

So those who are complaining Indian Blu-s are R-Rated/Censored is not Right. At least SONY DADC are not censoring their Blu-ray Catalogs. Don't know about Reliance/ Excel Home Entertainment.

Flipkart is the most reliable. Infact, my experience is that I have always received the item before delivery date

As of now , Flipkart wins hands down with others.

But that does not mean that the others are so bad. Recently I got 2 DSLR cameras. First one a Nikon 3200, I bought last Saturday from Snapdeal (CoD) and the other one a Nikon 5200 from Flipkart on Monday as gift to my Sister using CC. The Flipkart item got delivered in 3 days. The Snapdeal one have reached me yesterday (though I collected today only). Both are fine. But the packaging used by Snapdeal is not upto mark and just covers it up with a plasctic cover (no bubble wrap), whereas the one from Flipkart is well packed (including bubble wrap plus additional card board boxes) so that the original packaging stays in the showroom condition.

Also I ordered a DVD collection on 15th, which I received today alongwith the Camera (CoD), though the staus shows the shipping done today morning. May be it reached me immediately as the seller location is close to my office.
