I am thinking of buying audio discs online from Rhythm House. Is it safe?. Any experiences to share? I searched for threads regarding Rhythm House, but couldn't find one.

I have bought from them many times. Reliable!
Sometimes the plastic cases have reached me in broken condition even with good packing.

I have just bought a DVD from Rhythm House. Their service and packaging is extremely good. They wrapped the DVD so much, that while opening I teared by mistake the cellophane lamination of the DVD jacket !

Are you still watching movies at DVD resolution?
I came out of that era 3-4 years back.
OK I understand. Must be a rare one?

SANTYbhai, There is no Bluray release of Seven Lives Many Faces by Enigma.

BTW, DVD has dts 96/24 tracks so its very good. (Germany Import) Any idea where can I find Madonna concert DVDs?

Thank you Rupam and Shivam. I went ahead and ordered cds. It is my first time buying from them, so I asked them to pack my stuff well in the 'additional info' column :P

Purchased ACDs from them, packaging was good. They have good ACD titles too, but mostly all on MRP.

Rythmn House is one of the oldest, well stocked and most reliable Music shops in Mumbai -they located in Colaba. I used to spend many an hour browsing through their racks of LPs and CDs long before the internet. They are very prompt in responding to your quieries / request and will go the extra mile. However you will almost never find them selling at a discount! I just bought a ( replacement) Rory Gallagher DVD from them last night.

My only problem with them is that they include all your personal information in their emails confirming your orders, including your IP address :=(

Well I have ordered only once online for few DVDs. But due to some reason the deal could not close. When they reached me they said they will first verify their physical stock before confirming my order. Next day they confirmed availability of few, whereas few they said that they don't have stock (despite the online it shows available). They gave me the reason as they sells also in stores, sometimes it does not reflect the correct inventory.

Anyway, I paid online (after they sent me a way to do it after revising my cart) and I asked to deliver to my office address, which is close to their store I git it next day or so. The packaging was good, as they put it in a cardboard box. Otherwise I think they are reliable. Anyway they are selling thru Amazon-India as well.

Got my cds from Rhythm House. Packing is very good. Condition of cds poor. Blue ost cd condition is too poor. So many scratches and dust. one Broken cd shell. Happy that I got the cds I wanted but sad that I got scratched discs. In the order form's 'additional information' column, I insisted on having my cds free of scratches. Felt like sending them back as a gift to RH. well..

Please write to RH and complain- let them know about the condition of the discs. Did these discs not have an sealed plastic wrapper ?

One Tips CD had 'seal king' resealable cover and rest had normal resealable covers. T-series was plastic wrapped (Blue A.R.R OST..Rs.45 only) but this disc was the most scratched. I wonder if it will even play.
I send an email to RH and got the reply.

Forgot to mention that there were finger prints on the cd surface which have resealable covers. Could have been other customers who opened and took a look. The cover looked like it has been opened more than once.

Sorry to dig a more than one year old thread.
Actually, I am thinking for purchasing a laptop (Lenovo) from Snapdeal. Snapdeal offers very good price for this laptop model compared to a brick & mortar shop.

But I am hesitating, whether it would be advisable to purchase from Snapdeal mainly from warranty point of view.

Has anybody purchased laptop from snapdeal? If yes, may please share his experience regarding product genuinity and warranty.
