Endhiran - The Robot.

"The biggest fool is the one who thinks people are fools."

This quote can also be inferred as, "The worst piece of trash is the one who thinks people love trash." ;)

I'm not sure who you're addressing this to but in case it is being addressed to me, let me clarify - my post containing Rajini's quote wasn't addressed to you as I don't care a hair's width about an ignorant opinion that was formed about the whole movie after watching just 10 mins of it. To me, this is as ignorant as saying, "' '2001:A Space Odyssey' has no visuals; just some weird music!" after watching the first 10 mins of it.

In a democratic setup everyone has a right to disagree and voice his opinion on others' opinions. If you think that's unfair, you're only contradicting your own idea on democracy. And seriously I don't understand why you even bother responding when you believe that 'there's no point in responding to trolls'.

Mr. Vramak

As you are not sure whom my post was addressed to, I was also not aware on whose post your comments were directed but since it was posted right after my post, I did find it in bad taste and hence chose to comment it as troll should be ignored.

Thereafter for no reason, you chose to reply to my post which sounded rude. I do not want to escalate the issue by replying to your post in the same tone.

You may or may not agree with me on this but I don't think it is worth sparring over trivial issues.

A democratic set up does not give anyone a right to be rude to others. Criticising someone's opinion is ok but calling them fools and trash for having such an opinion (in your post above) is just not on.

Just a reminder to you that your posts can be construed and reported as trolling. This is my last interaction with you in this forum.

I'm happy I didn't spend any money. What a lousy movie, couldn't stand it for more than 10 minutes. Kids enjoyed though.

I promised them to take them to theatre. It is decided, I'll drop them at theatre and I head to club. Pick them up on my way back

I guess this futile conversation wouldn't have grown to even this size if I had properly addressed my first post to the right people.

Reading the messages over again, I can see that we both are driving to the same point - you say don't criticize people just because they 'dislike' something; I say, don't criticize people just because they 'like' something.

Now, that you've stated that you don't like seemingly rude criticism, maybe, in future you could keep your movie reviews more analytical and properly worded instead of just labeling a movie as 'lousy' after watching just 10 mins of it.

Hey Metalmickey,

Are you implying that I've watched a pirated DVD.

My brother-in-law brought a Telugu version from Andhra for my kids.

I do not watch movies and am not aware that the DVD was pirated.:o

Just checked with him. He borrowed it from one of his friends.

It is indeed a pirated one.

I auditioned a stereo system today at a neighbouring HiFi store. I just heard it for a few seconds and I could not tolerate its performance so I simply walked away. Minutes later, the dealer called me and told that I left the showroom before the system was even switched on. Damn... that was embarassing. :o

Some movies are meant to watched on DVDs while others are meant to be seen in theatre and Iam sure shankar's movies become plain-jane when viewed on DVD.

I'd agree that the big screen would add to the wow factor, the professional sound system would add greatly to your aural experience but can it change the story line the dialogues, the events depicted?

What made me give up is the scene where a train load of goons trying to outrage the modesty of the heroine and in spite of the steel and titanium robot bashing up them with his steely limbs, against train's steel seats, train's walls and what not, they not only spring right back but also seem to grow in numbers.

Lol.. Actually it would be scary to live in such a world in which everyone likes the same thing.. :ohyeah:

He he.. Think about preference towards girls.. :D

LOL. Sorry for the OT here but that is what west trying to do everywhere. Imposing their ideologies, life style and what not.

Duh.. Were you hallucinating or something?? Or was the shop keeper singing?? :D

P.S: What has it to do with this thread??

My Comment...

* As a superstar Rajini Movie ..no doubt its fantastic ...nice dance sequences..colourful locations, believable action from our veteran superstar...so for a Rajini Fan ( doesn't matter he is a Tamilian or south Indian) its a treat

* As an innovative concept - A humanoid /android hero with technologies and Backstage team never ever tried in indian cinema ( no one dare to) it deserve a standup ovation..Please expect movies of the same Genre again from India..Its a path leading effort

* As a movie goer who simply expect perfection in story ,songs, action sequences, comedy and Plot..

I would rate it average:

> The concept is good ( obviously ) but the movie lacks continuity and most of the frames are incomplete doesnt matter its a comedy scene or a serious scene ( editing lacks)
> Songs.. picturisation and locations are nice..But Music...a peppy track with electronic music is OK for a hi-tech story but still ARR is not at his best,Lyrics!!! the most stupid and crappy line ever wrote for a song ( all those ...jodaros, hossave!!,hypnotic supersonic..even Honda Asimo..**%@>>,<)

> The maker reffered the scenes from I Robot, D-war, Bicentennial Man ..etc which are acceptable..

> Comedy track... In all shankar movies ...Comedy is there as a parallel track.the latest Sivaji also not an exception..here its pathetic...
The so called comedians utter all stupid comments ( like low class chaps..n not like an educated Robotics Engineer Character)..u cant remember even a single instance which will make u laugh

> The sound design is ok...but as Resul pookutty in the Dept and compared to Sivaji n Anniyan it is not up to the mark...

The Climax Action scene is mess with FX sound 'criss-cross' like arrows...after that 15 min session u feel escaped from a thunderous down pour..!!

May Mr Shankar come up with such innovative Films with more sense and finesse.

:)

enthiran movie bluray and dvd released...........
it has been released by lotus fivestar..
i bought movie dvd (pirated) yesterday looks awesome........

Watched the songs on Sunmusic,Aishwarya rai Aunty looks very beautifull!!!
She should watch out, producers might ask her to play Rajini's mom in the next movie.
What was that hair style in Kilimanjaro song??,dog's tail?,it just looked like my lhassapso dog's tail, have heard of pony tail, but dog's tail is new.
Felt sad for Aishwary Aunty, for all the money she has,she has to wear torn clothes!,can't Manish malhotra, the designer stich those torn places!,if the producer had appointed me the designer I would have atleast bought a decent Rs.300 chudithar.
Aishwarya rai Aunty certainly looks beautifull even at 45 years!
