Fans of Television Series

Remember "Telegames" / "I love Lucy" / "Goonies"?

Goonies is a movie AFAIK ... and it was not Telegames, but Telematch ..... German Game Show ... and I love lucy was great .......

What Sam said, but those were indeed the days.

I also loved both Didi's Comedy Show and Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, excellent comedy shows.

It is too bad we do not get reruns on the Indian cable network. I have seen so many shows on reruns in the US.

Thats why we have youtube .... everything is available, Telematch, Yeh jo hai zindigi, DD comedies show .... No need for any cable network to re run ...:)

Gotham Season 2 is turning out to be killer awesome ..waiting for today's episode..Jessica Jones was begun and aborted in five minutes...Tried Supergirl ,but I guess won't go beyond the Pilot episode...and yes Ash vs Evil Dead is turning out to be good so far

I agree, it has outrun in potential. IMO season 2 is way better than season 1.

Anyone enjoying Supernatural now in it's 11th. Season. It's become more comical than supernatural. The interactions and antics of the Winchester brothers are hilarious and enjoyable.

Have not followed up after Season 5 or 7 (I forget which), but I did enjoy it a lot back then. It was one of the best supernatural serials on TV, which was not about vampires, werewolves, or vampires and werewolves.

It is the same story with procedurals these days, everybody has a skill and they use it to solve crime - Limitless, Blindspot, Minority Report, etc. Thankfully nothing is as bad as Minority Report though, and I'll be honest I enjoy Jaimie Alexander's eye candy in Blindspot and Limitless is also turning out to be a lot of fun.

Yes, that's why Minority Report has not been renewed for the second season, as was expected.
Limitless is funny and enjoyable.

After Friends and Lost, I never watched a series. This thread is tempting me to dig youtube and start on a good one. Any suggestion?

Homeland, Limitless, Gotham, Scorpion, Blacklist are worth watching.
Also, you could try Arrow, Flash, Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow.
Can't say about Quantico. Although ratings are high the constant back and forth in time is irritating.

Justified - Season 1 .... Just finished Justified SE01 and boy the finale was gripping and tense. The plot is about Raylan Givens,(awesomely played by Timothy Olyphant (Die Hard 4 villain)) U.S. Marshal who after a famous notorious kill, is assigned/transferred to Miami his childhood home in the poor, rural coal-mining towns in Eastern Kentucky. There develops the story between the characters and how raylan transforms the law enforcement there. This TV series is all about Raylan, nails the 'cowboy' style attire, which is what he also played in an earlier TV series called Deadwood, which I have already booked in my watch list after Justified. Raylan on the out is a soft spoken gentleman, with an eye for crime perfection, but inside he is a ruthless, angry law enforcer with a draw faster than anyone on the countryside. The first few episodes are slow and moves with respectable pace, with great, I mean detailed emphasis on the character development, which is like a main ingredient of any TV series. But the show just sky rockets and picks up the pace in the later half of the season with the last few episodes pretty edge of the seat material ............ Looking forward to season 2 ............. 7.5/10 for this one

Just finished Season 2 of Fargo, it was great but Season 1 was completely different. Missed the dark humor & comedy of errors portrayed in Season 1.

Season 5 of Homeland was intense & fun watching.

But for me the great revelation this year has been The Affair. Just finished Season 2 & it has been such a wonderful show. It's not a Breaking Bad or GOT, but it holds it's ground with some great human drama & it's follies. Looking forward to Season 3.

Guys simply don't miss the true crime documentary of 10 episodes on Netflix called "Making a Murderer". Bizarre case of criminal injustice, this controversial documentary is making waves all over USA. 5/5.
