Fans of Television Series

Luke Cage (TV Series 2016 ) - IMDb - Good, just not great. On its own it's a good series, however, just not Daredevil. However, I don't want you to think or take that as a negative, it has enough plot turns and twists, and enough entertainment that make it better than most shows on network TV these days.

Give it a watch, has to be watched especially if you plan to catch up on others like The Defenders and Iron Fist.
I finished it just last week. I liked it too, but I'd personally rate Daredevil and Jessica Jones over this. I'm looking forward to The Punisher, whenever it is that they plan to bring it out.

2017 I believe, along with The Defenders and Iron Fist, which looks to be fun, at least based on the trailers.

JJ was bore .... sorry....:).DD was on a different league all together. Super Hero Tv series are not enticing me. Flash was bore, agents of shield was also bore ....lol.... Only DD was worth and it was ultimate.

Oh Man, I don't know how i missed out on "Black Mirror', really 1st world problems i guess.

Such a craftily made show on the impact when technology/augmented reality clashes with our modern way of life. SE I has just 3 episodes, SE 2 has 4 episodes & the New SE 3 has 6. S03E01 is such a wonderful take on our lives on social media. The show is must watch for tech nerds & gadget freaks.

Edit: Each episode in each season has a different theme & story line, that makes this show more special.

^^You missed Black Mirror!!!!, BOY I did a detailed review of the same, guessed you missed it. BM is one HELL of a show, too intellectual sometimes for its own good.

Where did you see SE03, I have been waiting for the same?

There goes a new show from Amazon, Goliath *ing Billy Bob Thornton, episode 1 was a pretty hooking one.

Looks good,... I am waiting for 18 Nov .......:)... You know Amazon Prime Video launching in India:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: Will then start all these TV series. For now saved in my watch list.

Luke Cage: Same here. Watched it a couple of weeks ago. Even though Colter mentioned that the series is "The Wire" of Marvel universe, I didn't see it that way, except on a superficial level.

"The Night of", with its take on the system reminded me a little more of the Wire.

Black Mirror looks promising. Thanks, @Rajesh Karia and @sam9s.

I have been following the series:
>> Stranger Things :
What an amazing series with a pretty evident 80's feel. The kids are amazing.

>> Narcos:
What a series on 'Pablo Escobar'. Superb acting and the characters detailing and relevance to that age Columbia is so amazing. Worth a watch. Completed the 2 seasons in a continuous binge watch session.

>> Mr. Robot:
With what I have read in the few post here. I think you guys would love it, if you haven't seen it. Really have to put your thought and mind there. In season 1 there is 2 minute monologue which says a lot about our current Social Network & related scenario. It's a MUST Watch. Mind = BLOWN

>> How to Get Away With Murder:
Superb thriller.

>> The Blacklist:
Just watch it for the sheer brilliant portrayal of James Spader (The character of Ultron in Avengers Series). Amazing Thriller.

>> The Flash/Arrow:
Time-pass Superhero series.

Also, a recommendation if you watch a lot of TV series and Movies and want to keep a tab on the new series update, etc. create an account on 'Trakt' or 'TVShowtime'; Real good Kodi Add-on and Android/iOS apps are there which integrate this.

Would keep updating and sharing the list of TV series which I have been following. Do share your recommendations too.

Cheers! :)

@Sam I am sure you will love it, brilliant show. I am already halfway through the first season via Exodus, well it just grips you. Now let's catchup on some Westworld episode 4 :clapping:

The Walking dead premiere is just brutal in every possible way. I think Negan beats all super villains I've seen till date and makes them look like puppies

Started watching 'Glitch' in netflix. Its a paranormal series, which is happening in a town called Yoorana in Australia. The series brings up a question on what will happen, when 6 dead people rise from tomb for some strange reason and start living in present, without any memory of how they died and what happened to them after death.
First couple of episodes seems interesting. Worth spending your time.

Heads up:

  • Season 2 of Humans has started airing.
  • Quarry looks promising. I haven't started watching it yet, but it looks to be quite interesting.
  • Berlin Station is probably another new series to watch out for.

Westworld is getting super interesting as each episode progresses! I also think that this series would reap a lot of dividends on a rewatch: a LOT of Easter eggs seem to be lying all over the place. The entire cast is outstanding, particularly Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris, and Thandie Newton.

Dr. Ford could very well be the role that Hopkins will ultimately be known for. With his work here - dare I say it - he has perhaps outdone his work as Hannibal Lecter! He can absolutely diffuse/charge the tension and atmosphere on the screen with just a few subtle cues, or even with just the way he smiles, or with his eyes!
