how bout wharfedale vardus (fs) i am planning to buy entry level fs and amp most probably norge.

This model was discontinued many years back.
Not VFM. I've heard them and they didn't excite me.
Very dull sound when paired with a Harmon kardon.
maybe a powerfull amp will bring out better results.

What bookshelves for 10x12' room ? Budget 20-25k, Amp budget 10k.
I was considering this. I want something for nearfield and which has musical & warm tone.

It will be better if it can be upgraded in future though not nexessarily needed.

u r right selva, M2's overall performance is impressive, the lows, mids, highs are controlled. vocals is also clear.

Finally heard a budget speaker which doesnt sound like budget. Q Acoustics !!
I heard only the 1010, but the deal I guess would be the 2020.
Strengths:

1. Surprisingly uncolored midrange, with gobs of detail and very transparent.

2. Build quality is very good. Very inert cabinet (never came across in budget speakers before) with fit and finish.

3. Speaker dissappears easily leaving behind a very open soundstage with good imaging

4. Tonally clean, open and dynamic.

Weakness:
Treble could have had a little more body. This was not a serious issue, only if you are accustomed to more mature treble would you really notice it else it is smooth, clean and extended.

Should be paired with relatively warmer gears. No Primare, Cambridge Audio, Cyrus stuff please.
