10.2 is not as good as 10.1 had an budjet of 30k.almost bought the psb b6 but then when i heard the 10.1's.it was love at first listen though its a bit bright with marantz the mids are the best in class and the low's were adequate and detailed.bought them for 13.5k and save 15k of my orgnl buget!.

I did check out the 10.1 and 10.2, and while I was happy with both sound wise, I really liked some songs on 10.2 more....especially when I heard Lady Gaga's Poker Face....
I dunno if the price difference between the 10.2 and 10.1 is justifiable though. I have them placed on top of a bookshelf, and thought that the larger sized speakers would be better.

While I was checking out speakers, someone else wanted to know if some NAD amplifier (think it was 315BEE) would be able to drive floorstanders...and they did put on some smallish Wharfedale floorstanders, but I've no clue if they were 10.3 or not
After reading hundreds of posts, which helped me decide to buy good hifi Amp and Speakers in a budget of ~ INR 20k.

How is wharfedale vardus 400 towers for 18k? Will it be a better buy than MS carnival 8 towers for tighter bass and crisp mids. cant have audition of MS here. both are three way while WV is sealed with a passive low end while Ms is front ported. I cant place a rear ported one in my place

In the same budget a bookshelf will generally be better than floorstander.
Coming back to the topic, I found mordaunt short aviano-2 as the best speakers under 20K.
I've paired them with cambridge audio 550A. I might have chosen some other speakers if my amp was different. Just want to accentuate the fact that on their own speakers can't be good or bad. They should, instead, be evaluated in unison with other components.

Mission should be available with Vijay Sales, Prabhadevi as many people have posted on HFV. Some have got it for as low as 18k. Call up Vijay Sales n check.

Did actually call vijay sales when i saw those posts on the forum but they said they stopped stocking missions! They now only sell yamaha speakers!
