Both will not be ~15k range even in pre-owned space?
At a dilemma, i use pc for primary music, movies n games in that order.
and in budget of 20K i have two options
1) Active speakers (built in amps)
or 2) Passive with Amps.
Which could be better option? Sorry if already been answered some times.

Hey guys can u people suggest a good 5.1 for me in the same price...
5.1 for 20k!!!...............might want to stretch budget a bit to 28k for Onkyo HT-S3500, best entry level 5.1 system, good vfm.

@Raghavan sridhar: Onkyo 3400 should be around 22-25K. It comes with AVR and 5.1 speakers.
Onkyo HT-S3500 is a receiver + 5.1 satellite speaker system

There is an ONKYO authorised distributor showroom(can't say showroom, its actually a house being used as showroom!) in Alwarpet. I have had demo of ONKYO 3100 and many speakers like Elac,Energy there sometime back. Hope now they'll have 3400/3500 for demo.

AFAIK, you won't be getting ONKYO 3400 for less than 25k, price of almost all electronic stuff has shot upin 2012.

25K is ok buddy because spening 16K for logitech z906 is not fair when i can get this for 25K. But wat about the quality..?? Is it good..

I called onkyo alwarpet chennai now and they said 3400 and 3500 costs 28K. Its not 22k or 20K.. Its 28K :sad::sad:
