Hathway goes HD in Bangalore??

Discovery HD is having some problems from yestday.. every while and then (5 to 8 seconds) picture and audio freeze occurs....

Does anybody having this issue...??

Yes I have the same issue. Probably they are working on dolby on that channel

Yeah same problem here too. There have also been a lot of outages today in the signal. Hope its stable during the Monaco GP

Video on ESPN HD takes around 10 seconds to come up after changing to that channel !! Is it happening to everyone ??

I thought this was just me thinking it takes longer but I too have noticed the same in all the 4-5 newly added HD channels. The EPG too is there only for these new channels. And Discovery HD has a lot of distortion. Hope they fix these bugs soon.

Got the HD box yesterday for the same yearly subscription price.
Not all HD channels are available yet for me. Many say service blocked. The cable guy says it will get unblocked tomorrow once he talks to the central office guys.

Superb clarity on the available HD channels though. One drawback is that the HD channels take longer to load video than the SD channels. Do not know about 5.1 though, as I have not connected my AVR (I am still waiting for my speakers to arrive).

Overall happy with the package hyeah:.

It was Rs 6666 for the STB + HDMI Cable + 1 Year subscription. I am guessing the cost division should be something like Rs 3666 for the STB + HDMI Cable and Rs 3000 for the yearly subscription.

@Gopi - How to do you identify the Audio Signal is 5.1.... The Optical output of HD set-top box is connected to Onkyo AVR...

Should the Onkyo recognize the 5.1 and display on AVR....? or is something else
