First time i went to Mumbai for Job searching I was staying in Chemboor. One sunday i went to watch Hindi film "DUS" in Nataraj cinema alone. I taken the tkt and get into the Hall ,movie was started and i realised that the movie which is playing that time was not "DUS" and it was some Marathi Movie .I came out from the hall then some one asked me "why you came out ?" I said "its Marathi movie and i can't understand" then that Guy said "its not marathi its Bojpouri movie"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was funny Santhukp.
Brought me back to old days when I went to see in Chembur- Chandramukhi tamil version.May be the same theatre.

Poster must be old as that Theatre is not as good as Current hifi Theatre.
Basant Theatre is famous in Chembur & had decent SQ that time.

Yes we cannot forget walking out of the theatre in Salem years back.It was our first outing of a newly wed couple to watch a movie of Arvindsamy(of Roja Fame) film titled as Pudhayal(means treasure in Tamil).

Thought to be a romantic film(because of arvindsamy) but so pathetic it was that we walked out of the theatre in first half hour and what bad luck we could not move our car because there was another car parked in front of ours!!!!!!!!!::annoyed:we spent the next two hours in our car enjoying the evening climate an talking about our growing up years.

An outing we cannot forget till date and years to come

Srinivas

Yeah...it was in recent past...Movie from bollywoods most irritating guy, Sajid Khan - Houseful! bloody hell...was that a movie or a torture cell??

The movie n its director the biggest 'Panauti' of all times!

It forced us to take an oath that me and my friend will not go for any of Sajid Khan' movie :)

Almost 90% of recent Hindi and Hollywood Movies are a real torture to watch. They are so stupid and boring. I think people should be awarded a "Patience Award" for watching it.

No, I have never felt so bored when I was watching a movie in the theater so far unless it is an uninteresting movie.

I actually slept during the mid part of Avatar. Part of the reasons could be:

- movie started to drag when Jack Sully was being trained by Netreyi
- the 3d glasses started giving me a headache (I wear specs)
- movie began at 11 pm

But to tell the truth, I find that Avatar is all gizmos/CG and no soul.

Well...I have never walked out of theater while watching movie !!
Because sometime, I find it interesting to know, that if some well-hyped movie with some great starcast is bad...I should know why it's bad !
But I remember watching a movie in Bangalore Forum Mall which was utter boring to me and I almost felt dead !! and the movie name is "The Last Lear"
IMDb - The Last Lear (2007)

No offense to anybody who likes the movie.

I remember this movie was produced by Arindam Choudhary, who made the most hated movie of Bollywood "Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo" long ago. Before the release, this Guru claimed that he had made some sort of great movie, as he know all the stats of movie business, hence he analyzed everything and made a movie which will do great business.
After reading all such claims, I got anxious and when people told me that the movie is utter crap; I watched the whole movie (Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo) just to know how bad it was !!

Too many times than I care to remember...

But one incident that I remember was when I had taken my folks to watch Devdaas. It was such a bore that I dozed off and was woken up by the guy in front of me who was getting disturbed by my snoring :D

Went to watch Solaris after reading some critical acclaim. Took along two of my best friends and film buddies all three of us dozed off within the first 20 mins and only woke up when the movie ended :-|

From My End I would have to say
Mercury Rising
2001 Space odessy -II @ Home (Fake!!! one was hoping alot out of the successor)
Sucker Punch - Thought there would be something to the climax of the plot. and @least a
glimpse of her dance
