Hello friends,
My name is Surendra Bothra. I m a die hard fan of Indian music. I am also into singing (mostly on karaoke). I have a Yamaha RX V 359 AV receiver. Until recently I was listening music on its stock speakers which came with the receiver until one of my friends introduced me to Heybrook HB 3 floor speakers. The sound quality was way better than what I have heard so far from my system. It got me curious and interested in high end music systems.
Later he upgraded his speakers to PSB speakers and gave me his Heybrooks for few days. Now I am addicted to it.
Later he bought a denon LP player and the vinyls sounded awesome on his system.
Now I am totally hooked to this idea of upgrading my system.
All my stuff is installed in my living room which is about 30 feet x 15 feet x 9.5 feet. I have a Sony 46" LCD TV. Yamaha receiver came with 5.1 channel kit speakers. I think it is 100 watts per channel
Guys, I m totally new to world of high end music with little knowledge about technical terms.
I want to build a high end music system for pure listening pleasure at this point.
Kindly help me with your suggestions.
I will need to send Heybrooks back soon. So I will need to buy something similar or higher grade of my own.
Kindly start with basics. My budget is between 1-4 lacs. Do I need to upgrade my AVR or can I use it? What speakers? What other accessories? Which vinyl player? Etc etc
