You bargained quite well @ croma I never knew that they would offer that rate. btw did you opt for the 2 year extended warranty for 2.5k ?
Prit,80 k for 47 le5500 is unbeatable:clapping:,can not get that price in any part of the world,even the 42 le5500 was selling at 89k till last month
Did you buy a voltage stabilizer,there is a special VGAURD stabilizer for flat TVs I think.

@kittu1977 - yes I paid 2.5 K extra for 2 yrs extended warranty, thought it was a good investment are things tend to mess up just after company warranty (of 1 year) expires. Maybe they have built in intelligence to extort the customers?
@bala - nope, I have simply hung it on the wall and plugged it into the mains. But guess since 5 AMP lines in my house comes thru a pure sine wave invertor (set in UPS mode), I should be fine, what say?
Bass - I have kept a bit low, at around 30, treble around 60 and it works fine for most of the channels including HD. Assumed that such tiny speakers would not be able to handle higher bass anyway, and guess I was right!

Prit,did you find the graphic equalizer???,my TV has only bass,treble controls,bad that there is no graphic equalizer.
Also,certain SD channels like SUN,jaya,mega are extraordinary,while few like VIJAY look washed out,why so?

@bala - no graphic equalizer per se, just bass/treble and some "Clear Voice" settings which are shit. Guess you need the optical audio out to a speaker system. I got it connected to my Sony hifi, sounds great

BTW, last time I went, croma had the 42Le5500 on display. If you want a 100% live demo, go to Reliance World @ JP Nagar 24th Main crossing and watch the full array of displays - thats what I did. I asked them to run SD satellite channels on all the display TVs and zeroed in on LE5500 which rendered SD the best (in my humble opinion). Reliance lowest quote was 84K so croma got the deal!
3 more days just got my refund from samsung guys need to drop it in the bank and go for shopping...
Prit,did you notice that the best color in the LED TV is red?,followed by yellow,green and pink.Black is not the best.
