Hisense TVs India Price and availability - Blocked by Hisense!

Is it actually shipping or just some pre order nonsense. I think the other models have visibility on launch date.
Although I must say if 8080 55 inch was launched it would be very hard to justify oled TV purchase for me. Rn spending 10-15k to get a 55 inch BX looks like a better purchase.

Sold out when did they launch it ridiculous , pricing is excellent thou
Pricing is not excellent given that toshiba as a brand is almost non existing in india at least.I bought the Sony flagship LCD for 1.45 (65x9500g),so although value I still think its overpriced at 97K

Well Sony 950G is las year tv and for the most part it was costing 1.75L+.I think only recently the price has dropped.Even now 48K is a big amount specially given that H9G has specs to match and even do better many areas.Look at what competition is selling under 1L.I seriously dont think this is overpriced.

I agree that sony 950G has the best processor in the market with accurate colours and brand of sony. But H9G has flagship specs.

Note:I am assuming this is H9G but we dont know that for sure. Also going by whats happening so far.Toshiba seems to have very poor sales service.I hope it provides better after-sales support

If it is H9G, its a better deal than 950g at 145k

All our observations r based on this model being H9G othwerise no point in buying sub standard tv better to go with sony or samsung

If you are assuming this is not a H9G then you too are reading the spec sheet and clamming it can achieve 1000+ nits.

I am not claiming it Toshiba is claiming it.I have to assume its true otherwise the 2nd option is purchase equipment costing many lakhs and go to the showroom and measure it and maybe then post here.

I guess you did not get the point. The specs are very good for the price. whats in the name?Even if Toshiba decides to name it as "Amitabh Bachhan" Tv.Is that going to change anything?

I think what he means is that we need confirmation of it being a specific Hisense model otherwise there is no way to know what corners we're cut or if it actually reaches the specified brightness and contrast since we don't have any respectable reviewer here.

Then dont claim its a good buy without any verification of any kind. Even if Toshiba claims its 1000nits. The only reason its a good buy if its indeed H9G rebranded.
If you are now going by specs then Ridaex tv is a better tv. I guess you are not getting the point now.

Finally someone understands.

The TV under this model (U7980) is the rebrand of the H8F, so this model is either an H9F or an H9G rebrand since the specs are better. Also, both the H9G and this model have the same advertised 1000 nit brightness and they look exactly the same. Even if they used an H9F panel in an H9G body (unlikely) it will still be unmatched in the sub 1 lakh segment since there is absolutely zero competition.

Unless Toshiba somehow retrofitted some other shitty panel and did wrong advertising that is, but that will often be more expensive than selling just the rebranded H9G as it would require engineering effort.

Uh, what? The Ridaex has a lower brightness than the ₹ 45k 55U7980, and it lacks any local dimming which the 7980 has. Ridaex is just going to sell sub-standard TVs in the name of desi brand and they are not even in the same league.

But the other tvs in market like TCL and VU and even Oneplus are not claiming even 500Nits forget 1000.We surely dont know what corners these tv have cut.As for these tvs also there are no technical reviews.

We only have access to technical reviews from rtings etc for selected Tvs of sony and samung and Lg.What should we do about rest of the tvs

exactly Hisense own Toshiba. So it is obviously going to use the same components in toshiba tvs.Unless it has some evil agenda against indian consumers.

I dont need your permission to recommend this tv.This is tv with good specs.better than anything under 1L.So I will say this is a good buy.

Already @lightgamer has explained other points so no need to repeat those.
