For a moment I have to agree with corElement as I also didn't find yamaha models good. Others might have different experience.

Hi friends,

Iam a little confused here with very tight budget.

I bought this yamaha 296 htib some 8 months back and i felt the speakes needs to be upgraded now. Iam planning for fronts now. I have auditioned Yamaha NS 8390, Polk audio tsi 300, JBL studio 180. But unable to decide which one is better. My usage would be 50:50 movies and music. I would say Iam looking at speakers which are good for music (especially desi music and mp3 tracks). JBL studio 180 is available for 25k in reliance digitals, hyderabad. But dont know about the quality of the product. The reliance have crap material for demo. So i really dint understand the quality of it. Polk audio tsi 300 sounds good with Rs.23k and Ns 8390 at Rs.16k approx. Budget is max 25k.

Please advice and help me to decide guys.... Its very difficult to decide from a ocean of options for a guy like me who doesnt have much technical knowledge about speakers. Please dont tell wharfedele etc as i dont have them in hyderabad.....
