Its a good one. I have heard this song one or two years before. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this for first time. Very nice composition. There is another funny composition in the combination of IR and TMS, where Kabhie Kabhie song was sung for VKR.

Thanks a lot for posting thos song from Nandu. There is one more great song from the same film "Nandu". The song is "Annai Thandha bhoomi ethu.." and it was sing by the one of the greatest singers "Malayasia Vasudevan". What a great song and what a singer.

Whenever I hear thing song, I feel very sorry for the great singer who passed away and in fact I heard this song only after he passed away. I think we all miss IR and Vasudev combinations. Even if hasn't well known like other singers, he is still in the hearts of many people. I pay tributes to Malayasic vasudevan through this forum.
 
Dear IR fan,
I am searching for an IR sung song. The lyrics in the middle of the song goes like this. TEEN AGE ILAINGARAI PAARUNGAL..... OLD AGE OYVINIL ODUNGAL.... Can somebody identify the song?

Its the song 'Ullangal Inbathil Aadattum' from the movie Kavarimaan. The second saranam starts with the line you identified.

New releases are not on Agi Music audio CD's ..they have released a few Mp3's and the rest are online releases . The collection however is very good ...lets hope they come out with Audio CD's also

Record condition seems to be good with no scratch. Will reply once I clean and play them.

Chittukuruvi sounds great through a Tube Amp.
Kazhugu and Ram Lakshman records were sounding very average
Uthiripookal also sounds good but not upto Chittukuruvi.

Malaysia Vasudevan (with the name N Vasudevan) started singing for S.P.B orchestra where Raaja was arranging music.

Then Raaja used him to sings many folk songs in "Folk Songs of TamilNadu" LP Album along with Padma Subramaniam, much before Annakili. We can say this was Raaja's first STEREO Album.
Rest is history.

TMS song Kabhie Kabhie is from the Movie : Avar enakke sontham 1977.This movie has the famous surangani song by M.Vasudevan and renuka
 
Not the album. But I remember seeing only one song "Oru Naal" song by S. Janaki, in some Janaki Hits collection. I could not recollect which CD was that. I tried flipkart,landmarkonthenet and 600024.com, but many of them do not have song lists. Probably you can check in shop for Janaki Hits.

Yeah..me too..just mind blowing song with hell a lot of emotional quotient. I think the song was written by Raja himself. Wish AGI revives lot more Raja songs :sad:

Update: Got the album as 320kbps mp3 from AGI in flipkart.

1 see 912 albums in mp3 format and many are by AGI in Flipkart..going to buy a lot tonight :D

I think Oru Naal track is from the movie Devathai, though Avatharam was also directed by Naazar.

Downloaded some 25 songs across different era. I have to say i am really disappointed in quality even though they are 320kbs. May be because i am listening to mp3 after a long time. Raja's music is full of dynamics..but this is :mad:. I wish AGI releases lossless version. Instead of Rs.5 per song, they can charge Rs.10 per song. I sent my feedback to [email protected].
 
One more die hard RAJA fan here. I am in the process of collecting Raja Songs in VBR/WMA quality.

Recently I heard a song from a movie "Vazhmiki"(2009 Release) . Song is 'Koodavaruviya by Bela Shinde'. One more Breeze from Raja. Wonderful and Mesmorizing beginning when I listening it in my Head phone. But slighly different in my Home & Car stereo setup. It might be my EQ settings. Those who says Raja is not giving his 100% now a days. They can hear this and record their feedback.

Long live Raja.
