Hi

Everyone has different listening preferences and tastes....so you need to audition and decide what suits your requirements, budget etc....

Bostons are good...between the MX and LX series, i would choose the LX series...you can refer to Whathifi reviews and also see some YouTube videos to get a better idea...

Any body using mx1 and lx1 speakers? how their sound quality ? Are they better than boston a 25? Please welcome valuable inputs. my main purpose is for watching movies.
Thanks in advance

Wonder,
I am afraid you might not find direct answers to your question. As efernand1 mentioned, the liking for sound differs from person to person. Only way to narrow down your choices is to audition.
BA 25 or 26 are great value for money.
Also lot depends on the AVRs that you are going to drive the speakers.
If main purpose if for movies, then worth checking out Polk RTi or Signature series, they're proven speakers for movies.
All the best.

Reading the reviews of the Mission and Boston, they are not positioned as Home theater speakers but for stereo systems. From a movie only point of view, I'd suggest Polk as other FM's have also done. Based on the budget/space and AVR you could consider Bookshelves/Floor Standers (RTi or TS) series. Even satellites with subwoofer would also do well in case of movies. There are particular packages like Tannoy XP1 and Wharfedale DS1 which have good reviews for Movie specific usage.

Rajiv
