My Living Room renovation pics..- Lot of pics- so execuse me.

Hi to all,

After seeing members dedicated HT setup, thought of doing some trial in Living room setup for an fake look alike HT setup.

However could not give dark colour as like HT room, since it is an living room, so it will be bright....

Regarding Placement of TV very low, my usage and also my family viewing is also very less, so not taken much into consideration and it is only kept for visitor sake.

Placement of AV setup and associated wiring were done with help of venkateshsmart.. otherwise i will be running the placement and tweaking for atlest 2 weeks bit by bit.. thanks for his overtime work started 5.30Pm to 2am( yes...morning)

Yes, the TV positioning is a bit too low, but ok if you are not into watching the 'idiot box' too often.

Correct me if I am wrong ..... you have mentioned somewhere the room width to be 11' ..... it is looking more @ 10' .... I could be mistaken though ....

PJ Screen control box... This I have to hide it on back side of the top wooden plate( front- which helps me to hide the PJ screen while it rolled back)

That's a neat progressive pic's of your HT room, and the color combination/lighting is also good, same color combo was my choise for my HT room, of course not decided when to do it though. Anywas congrats to your new HT room.:clapping::thumbsup: ENJOY!!!!

Thats an excellent HT setup srini.Congrats. One can see how much planning you made before going ahead converting the living room into HT room. I can't even imagine to pulling something like this myself.

Nice one Srini - Looks fantastic. I love the green color finish, very similar to the rack in your Daughter's room. Nicely done. Looking forward to have a watching session.

BTW what is that Router table doing there - It's a bit a eyesore there. Can you please try and move it somewhere else (May be in to the office room itself)

Don't forget (If budget allows) to put some acoustic panels/carpets for some better acoustics also.

A Mech engineer doing Chem engineering work .... yes, biggy air treatment machines are involved ... design, market, post installation suggestions and in many places effective placements by just looking at site conditions ... maybe thats the reason!

Back-breaking work ....... I NEED A CHANGE :sad:

Now "THATS" what I call sharing pics Sri........very neat looking setup......color scheme is good, placement of equipment is innovative........just one thing ....if my opinion means anything .... make sure you get rid of every loose wire showing up in the pic, that should be the final touch and woudl make the setup look perfectly clean.......congratts ...........Man when am I going to start....
