your TT looks amazingly like the Technics SL1200, guess this is the Audio Technica version of that legendary TT.
Thanks Reubensm... . My present SL-Q21 is best one.. at the same time AT LP 120 USB sounds supreme.. Both are gems..

Reuben is right. The LP120 is often referred as the clone of the legendary Technics SL1200. The good thing is that the LP120 is offered at a more affordable price point than the 1200, & of course the 1200 is now discontinued too. However, the presence of 1200 which were made in 70s is enough to showcase the robustness of the machine, which was put to rugged use by the DJs.

IMHO "Lagaan" is a ok pressing but RDB is a disappointment. I didn't realize this until I heard them on CD at one of my friend's house. CD version excels for both movies. Excellent digital recording but bad analog transfer.

Sir I use RDB as demo for vocals, play Verses of Gurubani at side 'A' first track. Both singer are felt around. May be you got something bad.
+1 to the above even I got my first LP last week from flipkart RDB and I was mesmerized with the quality of the recording and music. My Zaph speakers started singing and my better half who was angry with my one more electronic item purchase just kept quiet and we were sitting and listening to the entire list and she said that this was the first purchase which made sense to her among my entire list of music items :lol:

Vino, i dont have any word to express.. But starting with Lagaan in TT,Is surely going to take you tho a different world.
Lagaan, Thiruda Thiruda,Uyire and VTV are one of the Milestones of ARR, WHICH WOULD COMPLETLY different fell of Music.
So your TT Bug is going to bit many who come over this Forum and have a Look on to it.

hyeah: Crazy,Its biggest issue of being audiophile is Managing the Wife or the House Owner (In case its a Rented House) for getting them and playing them
Hence deduced: The guy who invented audiophile headphones was single and lived in a rented house.
No issues with the house as I own it and its around 1300 sq.ft. 2BHK, very spacious but too many electronic items as always the better half feels its always not better :lol:

Did you compare them with the ACD? My Initial impression was ok but once I heard their ACDs I realized how good they are.

AT LP 120 is really amazing and reduces the record noise unimaginably.
Original cost of the TT is 300 USD. I got it for 234 USD. If I got it as a shipment, the cost would be doubled or tripled (15.5 kgs with packing)... but one of my friends brought this in hand. So No shipping cost!
