Just as an FYI. I bought the Isoacoustics Iso-l8r155. While they are bout half the cost my speakers they do make a difference. So in my desktop setup they are an improvement on my DIY foam blocks. Could be argued that I should have bought more expensive speakers to start with, but I probably would have faced the same problems. Thanks guys.
