Hi Sam, I am bailing out. The quality on pc for most serials is average. Not very keen on buying a media player for another 5k just for this as it then works out too expensive ( 5$ for vpn + 3$ for netflix plus the player).

No issues, but quality is not avg bro, not sure how you are browsing, yes I media player its easy and better, but on Chrome as well I get proper 720p and my HD button lights up, yes it takes time to reach 720 as compared to Media player but it get there.

Plus you dont have to use VPN when accessing from Browser, the extension works pretty good to bring Netflix.

Anyway it okie .... we might get another one, else Dushie and I are okie to with plan membership.

TV Series on Netflix also are 720p and 5.1 AC3 dolby digital (atleast most of them are)

Go guys, renewal time is coming near, any update as to who all are finally in for paying subscription for Netflix to Sam.

Sam: Do check and let me know what firmware your WD live is running on, as mine is still on the one it came with a year back.

Dushie, sud has opted out, not sure about technobhatt, I checked the account, we still have 5 days, the free account ends on 18 July, so if I dont cancel till then the card will be charged automatically 8 USD. If technobhatt does not confirm till then, you just have to transfer 4 USD (~240) in my account. Details I think I already have sent.

Hi Sam, I thought I'm already out; as you said earlier Netflix account can work for only 2 devices maximum and you gonna give preference to Dushie as he came first and one of us might not be able to activate device.
Anyways, I would like to back out and in that case your account can work for 2 members. Hope you don't mind.
- I didn't have any quality issues with Netflix, but video does take around 10-15 minutes to glow HD button on my PC and TV.
- I don't have any device such as WDTV. The only medium of convenience was TV, but my TV's Netflix app is not advance and lacks capability to deliver 5.1 Dolby sound and subtitles. Unfortunately, there is no way to resolve this currently.
- Netflix is lot of convenience, just click and play! However, new shows and new seasons are not immediately available on Netflix.

technobhatt, I think you got confused, I said on this free account only 2 devices are allowed (8USD one), the paid 12 USD will support 4 devices.
And since on this free account dushie came in first I had to give him preference. But if we purchase the 12 USD one, we will have 4 devices that can be activated ...

I'm in, as I don't have any issue keeping Netflix convenience for a much lesser cost. However, as I'm a bachelor; there is a slight possibility I may have to shift from NCR due to a job switch in coming months; not sure I would continue later or not. But I think we can take care of that situation later without much hassle.

You wanna watch Dexter on Netflix?? Here is the way!
If you're using 'unblock-us VPN' , then you should just change the VPN location to UK and you'll find DEXTER in Netflix UK version. Similarly few more shows which are not available in Netflix US, can be found in other Netflix regions.

Dushie, I upgraded the firmwhere, so its the latest, and no I did not face any issue after upgrade, all apps and services worked as expected. Infact couple were added, since I presume DNS was active ........

I have an unblock-us vpn a/c and still runnung netfilx trial which expires on 26th july. for the first 15 days it went on smoothly but now netflix is running on my PC but not on Ps3. I have only Ps3 to run it on my TV as my TV is not smart TV. In unblock-us site they are saying some problem in netflix on Ps3. Guys please help..

Open unblock-us page in ps3 browser and register ur device. I hope u have entered unblock us DNS entries and u have US pan account to download Netflix app, there is `how to setup ps3 for Netflix` available in unblock us page. Go through that.

Apologies in hijacking this thread a bit :sad:

But I am sure you guys can answer this best. I am using Home | tunlr.net and have changed the DNS servers in the router configuration page. So essentially, all my devices will be using this DNS.

Problems:
1. I can listen to music now in Pandora from the computer. Last.fm works great too. But I cannot listen to music from last.fm on my Denon DNP 720AE - it keeps saying that "Your country is not supported". Any pointers to fix this?
2. Only yesterday, I created a Netflix account from office (where we have a US VPN). But when I opened Netflix from home, the page is not even opening up. Was it down yesterday? Some sites seemed to suggest that.

I have mentioned this before, tunlr is not reliable and like all free services would have issues, better to go for a good VPN provider and use the same, office vpn would not help much.
