New TV purchase and Hands-on experience with LG 55-inch LM8600!

I feel that cnet is a little too much critical about PQ. Ofcourse this is expected from a top reviewing house.
But recently when I was comparing lg lm7600 and hx750, which was not kept side by side (we had to run around the showroom while playing the same video on both the sets), I felt that for ordinary viewing there may not be any difference.

Only after inspecting deeply we may see differences. So, if you are an lg fan you can safely go for this set for 1.15l which is the same for hx750.

Hi Dirac,

I am not talking about cnet. Avsforums has a phenomenal no. Of complaints against LG. it is kind of scary to invest 146k in a tv where there are so many problems

Frankly speaking, I also demoed few LG LEDs. Out of all only one I liked is 6700, even better than 7600, considering the price and PQ etc. Now that 8600 is coming down one can give it a look. HX750 is also good TV, which does not have any other issues apart from the black level issue (only if you compare with plasmas & HX850).. but I think the PQ otherwise much better than the LG sets.
