OLED TV's price/best quote thread

Hi all, I'm looking to buy LG C2 55" and I got a bunch of coupons from the customer care online...so the final price that I'm getting it for is about 1.02L (including no-cost EMI discount on my CC).

Is that a good price?
Please do not buy from the LG official website. Stick to offline channels. I have had a horrible experience with their site.

I ordered from the LG website a couple of days back and got the TV day before yesterday. Since I reside in a tier 3 town, there are not outlets which have such costly TVs.

One thing though, I used my HDFC Diners Black Credit Card to pay for the no-cost EMI thing and the final charge on my card was 97.5K...but the weird part is I got the statement which includes this charge but the HDFC mycards website doesn't show any linked EMIs.

Maybe HDFC has some issue on their ends, but effectively I got the TV for 94K since the DCB card gives about 3.3% rewards points which I got in the statement. Unless they revert it back...I'm pretty happy with it. :-P

They’ll reverse back the points when it gets converted to an EMI (charge will get reversed).

You don’t get reward points on EMI

Prices are already looking very good this year. We can definitely expect 3.5 lakhs 77” G3 or S95C during Diwali with group buys.

This might be the first year we’ll group buy the 77” I feel

I am from raipur,, and yes this year is a slowdown for television, might get 77 inch for like 3L during diwali,, and 85 inch mini led under 4L, that would be crazzy. If tcl and hisense would be interested to bring there latest model in india, it will a complete price war.

These are already some good prices. 77" S90C looks tempting as it's most certainly the same S95C 2nd gen qd-oled panel and add to it, has full 48Gbps HDMI2.1 port which S95C lacks. It might only be little less bright than S95C but then is around 50K cheaper also

A lot of people buy around Diwali. Since we have numbers, we can bring down the price considerably.

For example, we got the A95K 65” for 2.45 lakhs and G2 65” for around 1.72 lak

Stores across cities with same chain do give more discounts.

So Croma in Mumbai or Bengaluru will be able to give more discount for people in both cities as the stock for Croma is going down.

Secondly , even if you’re in a small city, you’ll be able to use quotes from group buys and get to negotiate to the same price
