OLED TV's price/best quote thread

  • It's a lot brighter, 1350 nits vs 950.
  • 4 HDMI 2.1 ports v/s just 2
  • Newer gen QD-OLED panel which will last longer
  • 144Hz panel vs 120Hz
A95k has pros like having DV, playing DTS audio, more accurate.

It depends on your preference. But since I already have the A95K, this year I'm looking at either 65" S95C or 77" S90C(new panel). When I want to watch DV content I have the A95k in another room anyway.
Is dolby vision vs hdr 10 really noticeable????

Brightness is not a trend. Take a look at two TVs side by side and brightness and contrast are the easiest things that stand out
Contrast is near infinity in OLED panels for both. Yet a brighter TV will stand out placed side by side. Around 1000 nits is good enough if it has DV and dts capabilities to compensate the 350 nits less brightness. Hdmi 2.1 ports being less will be a big bummer for gamers, HT users and those who use all those ports. So its really a tough call to decide.

I was just checking an LG G3 from a neighbourhood LG dealer. Just a casual look and they quoted 2.4L + card discounts (somewhere around 2.3) without any bargaining whatsoever. It was just a casual discussion.

I always wonder why are the Sony's so expensive in India. I mean the A80L are at 2.75 L and would not make sense at that price over a LG G3.

All prices are for 65 inches

A80L is new which is why it’s so expensive. It will get major discounts in the next few months

Last year we got the A95K for 2.45 lakhs which is 2 tiers above the A80 series.

I mean the G3 is also new - both are 2023 models. In fact the G3 is the flagship for LG which will compete against the A95L. The A80 is more with the C3 series. So the pricing seems way off in India

Sony launches later than LG in India. G3 was launched a couple months before A80L IIRC. A95L isn't even launched yet for example.

By the same example, the S95C is even cheaper than the G3 despite using an even better panel. I enquired a month or two ago and it was already 2.2-2.3 lakhs, must be below 2.1 now if we check.

Hi all, I'm looking to buy LG C2 55" and I got a bunch of coupons from the customer care online...so the final price that I'm getting it for is about 1.02L (including no-cost EMI discount on my CC).

Is that a good price?

which store and which customer care is this?

Can you tell price of s95c 77 inch currently??

The transaction on my Diners Black still doesn't show up as an EMI payment and it's been upwards of 20 days...so I believe it's permanent now. I got the LG C2 55" effectively for about 94K.
It won’t show up as an EMI payment man. You’ll see a reverse charge of the same amount and you can check in your linked loans that a loan will be active
