OLED TV's price/best quote thread

Also, folks - what kind of price can we realistically expect for the 75” QN90C / S90C / LG C3, all of which are around 4.3-4.4L? Is coming close to 3L or so a reasonable possibility?

S90C was available for 3.4 lakhs last month including all offers and cashback.

Definitely coming below 3L.

QN90C is IPS, so be careful there. You should be able to get the 90B under 3 definitely now as well.

Honestly, only looking to buy in a few months. Am leaving town in a week and will be mostly on the road until early November anyway. So waiting for the Diwali deals works out well, timing wise.

I recall reading that the mini-LED technology of the QN90C makes the IPS vs VA difference not as important - certainly, most of the reputed international reviews of the QN90C dont mention that as being an issue. Thoughts on that?

Rtings mentions that it’s a worse TV than the QN90B as well.

Even if it’s almost the same as 90B, why would you buy a worse TV for more money

Fair point. Let’s hope a few of them are still available come October.

As of right now, i am thinking of the 75” Sony X90L as my “baseline” purchase option if it comes down to 2-2.2L or so (or the QN90B/C). I do need to compare it to an OLED - and if the OLED is much better, decide if i am ok to just get a 65” OLED or splurge for a 75”.

Freaking scope creep - all this started out with me looking to put a bigger screen upstairs and move my current 58” LCD downstairs.

Please note that Samsung QN90C is being offered in VA panels throughout in India and Europe.

In the US, it is offered in IPS panels only above 50 inch.

Hence the confusion in the minds of consumers.

Are you sure about this?

What are the benefits of one connect box ???
It’s a separate box, but you only get 40Gbps HDMI. On S90C you get 48Gbps

Will we get sony a95l in 77 inch in india??
Doesn’t seem like it. Also since it’s late to India, don’t expect much discount by Diwali time

Sound is not good on s90c and brightness is also less on paper and built quality also not that better also no one connect box
Sound is equivalent on S90C and S95C by user accounts and you’ll add a soundbar anyway.

Brightness from what I’ve heard in real content is equivalent if you get the 77” with the new panel.

Build quality both are ok ok.

One connect box as I’ve said is more of a negative than a positive. It’s causing dropout issues with people with 4K 144Hz

Full screen brightness is also 208 vs 265 on 95c according to rtings

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
