OLED TV's price/best quote thread

Whats price of 65 and 77 inch g3??

Dude I been into group buys. As far as my experience goes you can easily get G3 for just under or over 2 lakhs i.e 1.90 to 2.10 Lakhs during Diwali very easily even without group buys. You just need to check as many offline stores as possible especially 4 days prior to Diwali. G3 is much more improved and newer oleds are much much resistant to burn-in. I like G3 for, proven track record of oled tvs, mla tech, can get really bright, innovative engineering by LG, heat sink.

I thought with World Cup starting this month and Diwali next month we would see offers early. But that doesn’t seem to the case? Is it the same everywhere?

I second this... Last year g2 65 was available for 1.71 from RD only for a week.. That made g2 stock out till January. Please make sure to check the pulse every week.

Hi All. I'm looking to relpace my dead Sony 55 LED which served me for 5+ years, motherboard gave up. Sony service has no replacement as the product has been discountinued. Paid 1.5L in 2018 and now it feels a real pinch. Anyways now looking for a 65 incher OLED and enquired yesterday with Reliance Digital for the following...

LG B3 65 - 207000 (cashback 10K)
LG C3 65 - 219000 (CB 10k)
LG G2 65 (Showroom used last piece) - 165000 (CB 10k)
LG G3 65 - No Stock, no price

Samsung 65S95C - 209000 (CB 10k)
Samsung 65S90C - 185000 (CB 10K)

Salesman said, by 10-12th they may be able to get the Dusherra offer details, so he shall update accordingly.

After comparing I liked the G2 but its been hanging there for over an year I think and why to go for an older and used TV.
Second I really liked the Sam 65S90C, very good brightness and colours but 3 concerns let me down... (1) No Dolby Vision (2) No DTS Passthrough (3) Tizen OS. Thirdly, I liked the LG C3 which has all, magic remote, great OS, a little less bright compared to S90C but still good, 120Hz panel.

Leaning towards LG C3 and need to finalise by 15th Oct (have waited long enough). Any thoughts please...

Dolby vision won't matter at all. All streaming apps and even pirated copies now are dual layer so you'll get HDR10 which is almost as good with Samsung's dynamic tone mapping(DTM). DTM has become so good nowadays that I prefer the base HDR10 layer with DTM over DV nowadays.

DTS passthrough is an issue with the LG C2 and G2 as well, keep that in mind. Only C3 and G3 have it

Tizen can be dealt with by using an apple TV or shield or firestick

Thanks for your inputs. How do you feel the C3 is? Worth the money spent?

IMO, LG G3 with MLA is way better choice. It would really bring out the details and that heatsink should boost your durability for longer binging sessions or gaming

I don’t see the value in the C3. S90C is just better and cheaper.

If you want LG for the Dolby Vision or other features the G3 is much better.

Really appreciate your inputs. Yes the G3 is the top notch one and undoubtedly the best. And since today morning I've been behind a few retailers for prices and finally got the lowest at 205000 (10k CB) for the G3 65 with a web camera free but delivery within 15 days once billed as no stock anywhere.

Also got C3 65 at 190000 (10k CB). (Dusherra prices as said by salesman)

These prices looks very good compared to the earlier I had enquired and really feel like booking the G3 immediately. I asked if the prices will correct further in a week or so and he said that this is the best prices from the company for Dusherra.

Both comes with 3 year warranty. And taking another 2 years additional from Reliance costing 25k makes it 5 years full warranty.

I'm in a delimma whether to wait a few more days and see if the price reduces little bit more or take the plunge.

I’ve got a quote for the g3 77 at 475ish. Is this a good price?

This apparently is the festive offer.

I was going to check for the G3 77 knowing the price for 65 at around 2L, I thought it would be somewhere close to 3L for 77 but this price is insane. Don't really know if this price justifies one step above 65.

Naah, you’re right it doesn’t, but I don’t reckon it will fall much more this season. Although international prices for it are hovering around 350ish (USD 4200++). This is also not an India manufactured unit, so I guess there’s some duty involved.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
