Please wait till start of the sales. Generally, offline stores start sales closer to the festival and after online sales end just to avoid price comparisons. After online sales, generally online price gets increased for few days. Those days offline sales agent show price online as high! and sell things at mrp! So, keep track of offliine and online.
Imp thing: If you have got a online pre-booking/ launch offer. Then that can never be competed with offline. That deal will always be better.

Finally took the bait after much waiting.
LG C3 65 for 170k net. Delivery today and installation tomorrow.

I know the price will fall maybe 10k or so by Diwali but I have waited enough.

Thanks. Initially had some hesitation as I wanted the G3 but the steep price difference made be consider C3 and take it. Almost 50k more for a few more benefits did not seem worth it.

Got it installed the day before and since then I'm really enjoying it. The picture quality, the black levels, build quality, smooth user interface etc etc. Still to explore a lot of things. A huge upgrade from my previous Sony 55. Really happy to go with this and have saved a good amount.

Got a quote a few days ago for a LG C3 77 for 3.75 before cashback, and 4.75 for the 77 G3. This was from the LG store. CBs would reduce the price by 12.5k or so.
