OLED TV's price/best quote thread

Very happy with the G3 so far. It’s very configurable though, and either you leave everything as is, be happy. Or go crazy on tweaking settings and start pissing off everyone around you. :D

What seemed like a really large display, doesn’t seem so large anymore. Your eyes will adjust far faster than what’d you imagine. If you’re torn between the 65 and the higher sizes, if your space permits go with the higher size by dropping the model type, dare I say, non-oled even.

You have a 77” G3?

Actual eye to screen distance is around 14’. Unfortunately my wall and decor config restricts screen size to a max of 77. Based on the THX and related screen distance calculators, recommended screen size is much larger. I’d have gone for the x95L 85-inch mini led tv ideally, but couldn’t.

I'm tracking A95L 65 inches
Vijay Sales in Delhi quoted 3.4 before cb 4-5 days earlier. I believe current prices are way too high, unlike last year's. Once Sony realises buyers aren't picking up at unrealistic prices they will bring it to same level as last year of A95K which were 2.45 before cashback

77" beats 65" any day as long as both are good quality displays.

I have the 65" A95K and the 85" Hisense U7K. The U7K is not as good as the Sony, and the difference between them is larger than A95L to S95C, yet we prefer the larger screen, especially when watching 4k content.

I'd also heavily consider the 77" S90C.

If sitting closer would it equal a larger screen?

Thanx you should consider 77s95c if difference between 90 and 95 is 40000 or less

Yup, but you can’t make a lot of people sit closer to the TV and view head on. This is a living room TV so our recliner is fixed at 10 feet away and we needed something that covers the entire 3 seater sofa which can view head on. That won’t give a good experience with 65” size.

85” at 9 feet you’ll need 65” at 7 feet. If you can do that, that’ll save you lots of money.

My next upgrade will be 98” or 110” TV

Agree. Mine is 10ft. 65" felt large initially when I came from a 42". I was also worried about 4k content availability at that time. But now I think 77" would have been the right size.
