Interesting. Inkjet printing will reduce the manufacturing cost of oled panels.

But this technology may take some time to get matured. Hopefully in some 2-3 years

Also, are OLED's fine in brightroom SDR content? I don't have any direct sunlight or windows in the living room, but one of the right walls is all glass and lot of sunshine. I am little skeptical if it would work with my setup properly. I am also looking at 65inch OLED to upgrade to.

Looks like LG CX is better than the LG CX from picture quality perspective :(

Both use the exact same panel and processing. Any difference is due to panel to panel variance, software updates and screen size tested.

rtings - "The CX has much better color accuracy, better gradient handling, and it gets slightly brighter."
That's panel variance?

Hi Guys!

Need your expert suggestion on the below quotes for LG C9.

Store 1: They have a C9 demo piece which is being offered at 1,21,490/- with 3 years warranty.

Store 2: They didn't have C9 so the guy tried convincing me to buy the CX for 1,57,000/- with 7.5k cashback offer. This offer is 30k over the budget. I was planning to spend 1.2L on the TV and 30k on a basic 5.1 home theatre setup (I have absolutely no idea with regards to the home theatres so don't know if this is the right terminology). Basically I want to hear surround sound like in theatre.

Store 3: Apparently they opened a new store 7 days ago and displayed a brand new C9 in that new store. He is willing to give that C9 for 1,24,590/- with 7.5k cashback and 2 years warranty. So I have asked him to send me the total hours run in that 7 days old C9 just to check that he isn't bluffing me.

What do you guys think about the above prices?

Not sure why they got different results. I have interview of engineers from LG themselves who say both have the same panel and the only difference is the flush mount on the GX.

Check out the video at 'the tech chap' channel.

Store 3 offer is just amazing. Take it if the number of hours < 200

Offer from the Store 3 sounds good. Assuming its 7 days old, Even if he has kept it running for 12 hours a day. It should be not more than 90 Hours in total, which is nothing compared to the long durability these TV's have. You should go for it.
