onkyo hts 3300

hey guys thankx for ur replies...... yeah i think the ideal choice for a entry level HTIB is 3300 and came to this conclusion after reading a lot of blogs and taking a lot of sugesstions.... the price for which im getting it in bangalore is 25k..... but there is a dealer in coimbatore who is ready to ship it and install it for me at 23k...... still contemplating from who to buy it....

yes , please let us know, i just checked with cochin onkyo dealer he said 33000:eek: when i told about this he said every state price is different !!

I have bought onkyo 3300 from modern world for 25K. They did not reduce a bit and mentioned that the Bangalore taxes are high. Well I have not yet installed the system, will be doing so in the weekend.

I did check Onkyo showroom in Sigmal Mall. They too quoted 25K. But they said demo will be available in 1-2 days.
 
Will group by purchase in bangalore get a discounted offer? (Atleast may be close to coimbatore price). :clapping:

Or if the coimbatore guy offers at 23k as you say including shipping, oh!! that's a deal!!

Not yet. They only have 3200 on display. The salesguy told me they will put 3300 on display once they run out on 3200 stock. It might take a month or so.

The price here is 26k , but bargain ...

Is it OK to purchase this system for 25K in India. I think the price should be within 20-23K

Amazon is selling this for $291 i.e it's equivalent price is less than 15K in India.
 
ontherocks it is indeed audio gallery...... and seklax i dont think comparing the prices abroad is appropriate as customs and taxes and shipping charges also come into play...........alternatively if you try to purchase from say amazon and get it shipped here it might be a lilttle cheaper than 25k i suppose.......but all said and done we are getting 3300 for 25k which was the same price for 3200 till 2 weeks back in bangalore so i think it is definately worth it...!!
