2. Will free shipping be available on individual units in case a group buy does not happen. I understand you did get yours with free shipping. If free shipping is not happening then what will be the mode and charges for safe shipment to New Delhi.

3. Your location is Surat and the brand shop you bought from is in Kanpur! Is there a locality in Surat called Kanpur or are you now located in Kanpur, U.P. The reason I am asking this is coz a friend is driving to Allahabad in the coming days and in case free shipping is not happening, I might be able to ride along with him and bring the TV back in his SUV.

1. as we are discussing group buy, chances of being demo piece are less and still dealer has clearly stated that all are brand new fresh pieces and not demo..you can check usage hours..if more, he will refund the money..

2. all prices are inclusive of free shipping like me..and all pieces are well packed with thermocol and shipped by bluedart..so don't worry..

3.its Kanpur, UP..like you I was not able to 50v20 less than 90k in my city..so took a risk..

4.I was not able to get a good deal in my resources, but don't know condition of metros..so if you people find it interesting than let me know because dealer has only 2 pieces are left..if we can gather 5-10 people than it would be a nice deal for everyone..if someone find it average quote and not interesting than also let me know so i don't waste my time..

only what i can guarantee is we will get genuine authorised tv..

(this is just to help forum members who have to pay 20k extra and no other intention as I have already paid my money and he is not even in my city)..

4. The quote is definitely so much more than average. Let us see how many people respond. Now as this is a group buy how much time are you allocating for others to respond.

I am also going to do another round this week of the different brand shops around my place and see if anyone is game enough to meet/better the offer.

On a different note, one of the brand shop's owner put the channel sales manager from Panasonic India on the phone with me, as I had put in a query regarding the launch plans if any for the 42VT30 in our market. While that model is not coming in, however in the course of the conversation he did mention that if 3D were not a requirement then the V series is far superior to the ST not only in terms of the PQ but also the components used to manufacture the unit. If nothing works out here then I am going to try and get the above model from Dubai.

can you pls elaborate? v20 pq better than v20. many reviews say st30 pq is at par with last year panny flagship vt20. btw 3d panel require fast phospors which also helps in better 2d pq. on this basis how can the qulaity of v20 be better than st30

I had ST30 placed side by side to V20 and I could easily say V20 was better. I also navigated the menus to ensure that no extra processing was being done to enhance PQ. Both with SD signal and HD signal. I hope that you differ based on comparison, since what good is spec if it doesn't translate to something palpable in reality?

The ST30 specs say Infinite Black Pro filter. V20 indian model did not have the pro filter. So theoretically ST30 should be superior. Did not get a chance to check out though.

The ebay prices remain same @75k with shipping since there is ebay charges to be paid.
If you want paisapay protection, this is the price you pay for that.


The seller is the same one naimesh is in contact with apparently. Answers querries in a jiffy!

He was also open to other means of payment. I hope naimesh is handling that part already.
