Pass B1

I will take one too.
If the cabinet design is sufficiently generic, I wont mind taking two for a future project.

Edit: Will this cab accept a MyRef Gainclone with its r-core trafo?

PCBs

Hi all,
I have placed an order for 8 sets of PCBs today.Total cost of PCBs (Pass B1+Power supply+LSA)would be 900.PCB cost depends on quantity since the quantity is small it is more. Please let me know if anyone else wants to opt for boards. This will be last run of PCbs from my side.Few members have shown their interest in GB:
1.Doors
2.Magma
3.Svaze
4.Ravi_d

I will post BOM with part no/link for B1 today.

Regards,
Sachin

Hi Sachin, can I have one extra LSA board?

please check the floor plan -
carpet area is 310mm width by 250mm depth ( deduct 15mm from 310mm if the seperater is used )

i need pdf with dimns for the faceplate which is 81*354mm
and the rear plate which is 73*340mm

faceplate overhangs 4mm top and bottom and 7 mm on the sides

power IEC with switch is suggested to be on the left hand side when viewing the cab from the front ( faceplate view)
and on the RHS if veiwing the back plate

this is normal standard for most cabs i think
i advise we follow this for the benefit of people who are buying the cab which they wish to use in other builds

Note : For buyers who are buying the cab just as a standby case for their future builds
It may be wise not have the rca holes or volume pot holes drilled if you are unsure of the future use of this cab
Buy the cab "bare bones" only - (only with IEC and power button) - no rca or volume pot holes

Two pairs of pre-drilled RCA holes should be fine IMHO even for generic future builds. May save some running around to get it drilled.

Your layout is good, but there is no room for 15mm thick partition. What would be the depth?
Edit: I think most RCA connectors will require 9 mm holes, correct me if I am wrong.

Sachin

everyone else whose in for the generic cab should agree to the locations
And yes i'll need a pdf with dimns for this too in that case
front and back plate

- front plate im guessing is a blank plate though

depth of partition is the entire depth of the cab - 250mm
pass board is 7.5 inches - 190mm
10mm safety
15mm partition

215mm

this leaves 310-215= 95

90mm safety for the PS board

how wide is the board ?
width being the shorter dimnsion than the depth

RCA holes depend on the RCA's
my neutrik ones/or neutrik comparable quality- require 11.9mm
the MX ones may be less though

arrive at a consensus and let me know via final PDF

Magma, my current used RCA required 9.5mm diameter of holes with isolators in place, 10.0mm is loose fit. BTW I sent you exact dimensions in PDF attachment. Please let us know if you anything more.

I agree keep faceplate as plain. Small holes can be drilled as per requirement. Otherwise I need to measure those holes to put volume pot, toggle switch for B1.
For rear we can keep 2 input pairs and 1 output pair of RCA as suggested by you earlier somewhere.

9.5mm dia it is then
i have a 9.6mm drill too if reqd

clean faceplate ... okie

just for my info ... volume pot will normally be on the RHS extreme ?

i will post a pic of the PDF'sso everyone can have a view and know what they are getting or give advice etc

I have two extra, unused CNC phono PCBs (no parts; bare
PCBs only), in case someone is looking for adding a phono section.
These are from Sachin's first CNC group buy, based on HypnoToad's design.
