Unfortunately installation post onam only :sad:

Contrary to popular wisdom I went ahead and ordered them without a demo due to many constraints. But thats where the collective wisdom of the forum comes into play :lol:

Congrats Jay...

I think you can install it yourself no need to wait till after Onam :clapping:. I hope the speakers would have come with speaker cables if not get some decent cables and connect. If you are not aware then just follow the Denon manual of how to connect the speaker cables. You should be up and running in less than 1 hour with your setup.

Actually the ProFx guys will be coming to install (its part of the package). So they have sent only the components and will be bringing the cables themselves

Thanks ! It's too early for me to comment on the performance but I had little choice as was looking for a center to pair up with my Lektor 2 book-shelves. The prices have sky-rocketted in the last 2 months but one of my brother's friend is a AV dealer so he sourced these for me on cost to cost basis. I was looking for walnut finish and tried calling every dealer in India but everyone had only black-ash ! I have paired them with Yamaha RX V373 and they sound pretty good.

Hi!!

Received the Tekton M-Lore yesterday.
Testing and trying with everything I can lay hands on.
They seem satisfying enough.
Its the Lyrita of the US. Small company operating out of UT with sales thro internet. Eric takes the calls himself and you can actually discuss with him .

A friend bought Google Chromecast from US

Priced at $35, it seems to be quite an innovative gadget.

Easy to setup and use. But only meant for streaming through certain apps and devices such as Chrome browser, Netflix/Youtube Apps on Android & IOS, but no support for Windows phone as of now.
I tried it and it works great. But I'm yet to discover how to play 5.1 sound using chromecast.

Bought the Sonodyne Sia 320 amp with 20% discount in exchange of an old Philips DVD player, paid 14100 for the amp.
An immediate improvement over my Yamaha 371 AVR in terms of two channel music. The difference is very very apparent. I am loving it at the moment!

Hi Vivek,

I got it for $550 shipped.
They are amazing, It's a 8" eminence PA driver but is very fast & accurate .
Frankly , I have heard nothing better.

The lows are deep. Do not need a sub. They are hi efficiency speakers.
As you can read the reviews, all mention, you feel , you are amidst of a concert and that's true.
Placement is the key. You got to place them right or move around to find a sweet spot.
Tested it with 1) the train song - Holly Cole- you get instantly transported to a train station . One can hear each pluck of the base string & the resonance.
2) Apocalaptica- Nothing else matters - Again the cello and base are very life like. In fact, you can actually hear the glide of the bow over the cello strings.
3) hazard by Richard Marx- amazing .
4)hotel California -here you may want a sub.

I don't use high end source like DVD's/ CDs , but use xbox music in windows8. Free Streaming.
check the reviews on line and they are all true. Amazing speakers.

I am too on a lookout for some great sounding speakers and torn between going for a well known brand or some boutique manufacturer. My only requirement is the best sound quality possible for my bucks. My budget is $1500 for the speakers. I am also open for used ones. A used PMC speaker within my budget would be a great find!

With that budget you have lot of options . Axiom,aperion and Zu audio are all amazing and Ofcourse Tekton speakers.
Enhancing your budget you may try PBN ( Montana audio) or Tyler .
