Would not really recommend it is more of a designer product than something which is very well known.
Please tell him to audition the system in the same price bracket that is the key.
As any of our FM would recommend it is better to for assembly rather than an integrated system.

DocD, thank you. I do not have the UMC-200, I have the UMC-1. (which is one of the reasons I could afford the XMC-1 -- discount card)

my system just arrrived and I have not set it up. Need to buy a screen and a projector mount before I can really enjoy this. in anycase this is for HT only, for stereo, I have an active system and the preamp is bypassed anyway.

But it looks lovely and relatively future proof. Here's hoping...

Just Received My Bookshelves , The Boston Acoustics A25 from hifimart.com
The packanging was very good. Three layers of protection with glass handle with care written over it.
Waiting for my Amplifier from Amazon.in to test these speakers!!

Bought Pioneer VSX 923 with BA XS 5.1 for my bedroom to pair up with my new additions of BDP 450 and Samsung 64f 8500. Yet to explore full functionality of the AVR, found my Denon 2310 to be simpler in ease and having more punch. Maybe I am missing some settings that I hope to discover shortly.
