Hello
Upgraded my setup for 3D. Purchased Sony 46w950a for 1.03lc with 4 active 3d glasses and one touch remote which replaced Sony LCD 42". Also purchased Sony BDP S4100 for 9990 from Sony Showroom,Dhule.
Upgraded Denon 1610 to X1000 @38500 from AVExcellence Pune.
Continued with deftech pro cinema 600 speakers with denon X1000.
No significant change in the quality of sound but enjoyable experience with 3D.
Also was able to enjoy 3D playback from Xtreamer Pro.

A few pics I took while testing the new purchase with my system (originally bought for our office library). Please view in full size!

Hi !!

After much research on-line and else where, purchased the SANUS Audio rack for the heavy Emo Components. The prices of racks can be very expensive and their is no friendly neighborhood carpenter to assist you with your project here.
I have liked the Rack for-
1)Sweet Deal- $ 145 shipped thro Quick AV.
2)Each Rack can take upto 200 LBs
3)Open Design with silver assents.
4)Extremely Robust and solidly built.

Attaching some pics.

Thank-

Not really an AV purchase but bought a TP-Link WDR3600 router. Took about a week to make it boot from disk and into Debian and its now transformed into a powerful machine with entire Debian software repository available for use. It now acts as my download rig and part of my home automation. Highly recommended.

Congrats chief if you don't mind share your experience with Debian and performance viz a viz to other OS.

There are no other OS /distros that I know of which comes with dedicated mips port apart from Debian. One can go for openwrt or ddwrt but my requirements went beyond just a wifi router, hence Debian. This router has high end specification (for a router) so performance is quite good. I haven't tried ddwrt or openwrt with this router long enough to judge their performance. However, with current setup, I am able to play a decent quality (15GB) full HD movie from my NAS, on my HTPC without any breaks over wifi using just the 2.4GHz radio i.e. N300. Haven't switched on the 5GHz radio yet as I dont have any clients yet. Will turn it on once higher resolution movies become available and N300 will not suffice. Its future safe :clapping:.

The only downside of this whole setup is lack of gui for wifi/routing functionality. Generally that is only required once in the beginning and rarely used later. So it not a big loss as such.

Excuse my ignorance... do you mean that this is a Debian port exclusively tailor-made for routers?

Yes, debwrt combines openwrt kernel with debian userland( mips and mipsel ports are available from debian website). The number of routers supported is small though. My new router is not officially supported. However, having used debwrt for some time with my previous router (asus n16), I have understood how it combines them and have implemented those changes for my new router with customisations to suit my requirements and it works wonderfully for me now.
