Changed my stereo set up a bit
Dynaudio Contour s1.4 standmounts (swapped for Legacy Focus floorstanders)
Parasound P3 preamp. (earlier using a Marantz processor that moves to do HT duty now)

Pairing them with my earlier Legacy Coda 250 wpc power amp. Continuing with Electrocompaniet cdp and Cairn Fog3 cdp.

Yesterday I got my Marantz NR1604 which I bought from ebay with RS 42,900/-. Actual price was Rs.45,900/- but got deduction fo Rs. 3000/- from ebay coupons. The seller "Sounds Good" from Mumbai is nice to deal with and got BD of "Bruce Almighty" as Diwali gift.

Congrats on new acquisition, NR 1604 is on sale at Reliance Digital(in Delhi and Bangalore) with Boston Acoustics XS 5.1 soundware and a Philips 3D Blu-ray player for Rs 56000/- I think its also a great deal.

PC as source. ASUS xonar u7 USb sound card as decoder. Foobar2000 as media player with active crossover.
Soundcard connected to Yamaha rxv-671 with coaxial output. DAC of Yamaha used.
Speakers: 3-way DIY with 10 inch alnico woofers, 3.5 inch morel midrange and Philips dome tweeters.
Morel Ultimo subwoofer driven by a celestra mono amplifier.

Woofers and the midrange are powered actively. Tweeters are connected with a cap to the midrange and runs passively.

Norge 2060 is excellent choice for budget stereo bookshelf system. Using it with Magnat supreme 200.

bought pioneer andrew jones sf-52 (fs)+c-22 (center) recently to replace my yht-299 supplied fronts & center. Now thinking to upgrade to a more powerful AVR and move the YHT-299 package to bedroom (hope my family doesn't read this....)
