Ahh, lovely. Do post a short comparison between this and AP tube Pre. Yeh, they are from different leagues, but still, purely Sound Signature wise?

Today received Sony UBP X700 4K bluray player to replace ageing PS3.

its a brilliant player. earlier I used a Sony BD player & x700 surpasses a standalone bluray player by gud margin in PQ.

After trying active preamps, both SS and tubes. Finally got a fully passive TVC preamp. A music first classic passive magnetic preamp.

Will take some time to actually try it out, as Iam still out for work. But will post my impressions once I do

For electrical power i am using Microtek 3KVA on-line ups and a 3KVA isolation transformer combination

make my 10" Seas L26ROY seem tiny by comparison. the magnet is as big as the cone area of the my current subs

Added Accustic Arts Power Amp 2 Mk3 to the set-up. Using Integrated as a pre. Only missing member from the Accustic Arts family is the Tube Pre-amp.

Will be setting up the system to make it look neat over the weekend.

Upgraded my Phase Tech V12 towers with Focal Aria 926s
Loving the soundstage and imaging improvement although still need to do some work to tame the bass - getting there though

Being a firm stickler for the KEF sound signature for 15 years now, I have to admit that the Focal sound is different and dare I say, nicer!

Focal Aria 926 is available for Rs.150k on AVStore which is at 50% discount of MRP. I got additional 5% discount on the discounted price from the lucky draw on their website. I got them for 142k. I believe they have more units on sale.

the headphone amp I chose was the Geshelli Labs Archel2 pro
