Post your latest AV purchase(s)......

Picked up Kef R3 few weeks back (pre-owned) and they sound AMAZING. Also ordered SVS wireless soundpath for my PB2000 which will arrive soon, looking forward to setting it up. Makes subwoofer placement much easier.

Congrats and what amp are you going to use with these speakers? Let me know your other sources too.

Thanks

I'm using it with my SR 5015 currently. Will probably add IA sometime next year.

Current gear:
Marantz SR 5015, R3, Kef Q150 surrounds and also single Q150 center. Surprisingly it paired pretty well as a center with R3! Didn't expect that. Polk RC6i for Atmos speakers, SVS PB2000, LG C9 55' TV.

Kef Q150s you are seeing wall mounted are using custom made brackets from Soundfoundations based on Kef B2, shout-out to Soundfoundations for helping me achieve this!

Check this thread out, and the video in the end has the official contact to reach out.

Got a pair of 3020i and 3090ci center... My first actual speaker upgrade from using Boston 5.1 for past 7 years

Some pics below

Am so happy with the sound it is quite night and day especially for movies... It is better than my dedicated subwoofer too
Congrats, I too had moved from Polk TL1600 satellite system to QAcoustics C20 + 3090i and was very happy with the level of jump for music and movies both.

I am still reluctant to move from TL 1600. The satellites are pretty good for that kind of money and size and work pretty well for a medium-sized room.

I was using it in a small room , 15 by 11 and found the QAcoustics to improve the LCR stage in a very good way. For surrounds , satellites still do a fair job but bookshelf were still an improvement by a small margin. The cost of LCR bookshelf vs new TL1600 was almost the same for me as I got them used , however would recommend them incase you do want to try them out.

Another addition to my setup, SVS Soundpath Wireless adaptor.

This helps me move my PB 2000 to the rear, makes the seating area more clean.

Picked up a pair of Kimber Kable KS 1116 XLRs from a good friend and FM. These cables are awesome…the best ICs I have tried yet. They better the outgoing MITs by a good margin.

Background is much much darker, musicality and flow are better, I get better dynamics and slam even at 2-4db lesser volume than what I usually listen to. Also they are airier and have a have a more natural tone with slightly forward vocals. Low volume listening is a pleasure with these.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
