Recieved POHD yesterday evening. Install has to wait till the weekend due to lack of dedicated time during weekdays.

For people who are still expecting their PoHD by courier, please hold your horses. I was there at Aqtronics yesterday evening while the boxes were waiting to be loaded into Fedex van.

Aqtronics has not upgrade anything locally. So if it came updated from the factory, we should have the latest ones, else we will have to update manually.

Answering my own query; The firmware loaded is indeed outdated. It is v7.06.r3875 released on 29th April. So will need an update to the latest stable release which is V7.3.x.r3582.

Stick to the one that they have given. The latest one has too many bugs.
The ones known so far include

Wma pro audio is not played correct

Thumbgen makes unit crash when pressing down or up to fast and repeatly, slow is no problem.

Thumbgen not alwys load the jpeg correctly some files give jpeg errors (blocks)

Mp3.s are started slow takes about 3 till 5 sec before start playing

Karaoke VCD L/R audio function no longer working

Sound problems when selecting passtrhough/dual or multi channel for spdif or hdmi, some
files/movies give sound on a certain settting some not etc etc.

playing 'some FLAC' audo files reset the unit, got here some flac that work some not.

Subs are grey again but got shadows.

No more Timeseek Bar

Holding button for 5 secs no longer switches POHD off

When pausing a dvd played from a video_ts folder the sounds stop after 2 a 3 seconds after pauze.

Webremote page si not working with Mac's Safari browser, sollution use firefox.

No longer can scroll when playing the movie.

When playing audio files the screensaver stutters constantly. When playing nothing at all, the text beneath PLAYON!HD of the screensaver stutters constantly.
The 'zoom in' button seems to do the same as the 'zoom out' button. It starts from 16x, to 8x, to 4x, to 2x, to fit. Should be the other way around.

Movie preview option is slow loading preview.

Missing screen adjustment, zoom mode "FILL" does not fill full screen as it was before.

Folder lock works on device but when accesing folder thru network folder lock does not work.

No file size info

Mandarin subtitle not display properly, believe some command <fontcolor=xxxxx> display as subtitle

No option to swtich off HDMI audio output, using SPDIF now and need to turn of HDMI audio from TV

Subtitles need to be turned on everytime you watched the movie. The option to turn on subtitles in Setup is not functional.

Under the Browser 'All' category JPG files with the names 'Folder.jpg' and 'About.jpg' are not seen by POHD. So these files can't be seen or copied by the file copy function. These files can however be viewed as thumbnails under 'Photo' category.

Movies are now flatter than before (Larger Black Bars at Top and bottom compared to previous FW versions). To view same size as before You have to press the zoom button to set at correct ratio everytime you watch a movie.

Setup; folder protection icon is an image with a speaker

Ken burns; if you have some portrait and landscape photos mixed, the ken burns effect zooms in- and out like crazy.

ThumbGen image preview via 'slow' button; it sometimes shows horizontal stripes through the image. If you look closely, You can make out parts of another image (the previous or next one).

Movie info; audio and video info is reversed

On-screen icons (pause, stop, next, etc.); shuffle and repeat all are still the old buttons. Some have a text label, others are icon-only. Make it more consistent? And use some prettier icons, these look like they come from the 80's. Also the stop-icon is showing only a fraction of a second.

Music info; while playing musing parts of the info panel start flickering

ID3 tags; tags that are showing correctly in the browser are messed up in the media library.

Skip audio track; it is no longer possible to skip an audio track with the RC (>>| and |<< buttons) in the browser. This was working fine in the previous official release.

Folder names do not scroll so when you have a number of them the same name appart from the last character you can't see which is which. Names for files do scroll when you have them in focus.

When playing a .mkv movie, the rewind button in not working.

In this FW, subtitles in italics are not displayed properly; the tags are displayed, like so:
<i>this is text in italics</i>.

When pausing a movie that long so that the screensaver kicks in, the subtitles automatically switch off. You have to manually set it back on again.

What is the part triangle displayed at the bottom right of the screen? (ssems to be there all the time)

On displaying the detailed information for a film, the actors names are truncated and no comma's between them (like the proper YAMJ displays).

On displaying the detailed information for a film, only part of the plot summary is displayed looks like the font is slightly too large so not all displayed (again open the index.html in a browser and all the information is there).

When starting to play back a file that is stored on the internal HDD, and press 'info' and the icon displayed is shown as 'USB', this has caused a couple of other issues, but not sure why it does this. Exit, wait a min go back in and it seems to work correctly.

On starting playback there the video is there for a second (no sound) then a pause for a second then everything is OK.

Even with the protection system turned off, the playon still asks you for a code to delete a file.

While displaying YAMJ, the screen saver doesn't work.

Driving mapping is not consistent.

BR-folder works over Samba (stutters) or internal HDD (fine) but not when using an NFS-share.

The icons and backgrounds in the Internet Radio section change weirdly when selected. The magnifying lens on search is completely white when unselected, but is correct when selected. And the background on Station disappears when selected.

when using the copy function, 3 folders (image, movie and music) automativally created.

Zoom out, does not auto-center the picture.


Functions not working at the moment:

Menu button does not give dvd menu options
Screen size adjustment
yamj does not support series yet.
Record from Internetradio.

This FW is more stable then the latest (stable) FW.

Also, only if you install the latest FW, only then you can view your board as 1073DD C+, else it would be visible as 1073DD.
Also, you would might not have the Jukebox software on the POHD.
I have been experimenting so your suggestions and help would be appreciated.
My POHD is also a P+ with V7.0.6.r3615 FW pre installed. It does not have the Jukebox.

I have installed it and can now view the Jukebox....
It also has changed my Board to C+...
