Bajaj Electronics Hyderabad.
My friend was looking for samsung LCDs and was quoted 62k for C650. He did not negotiate as he ended up buying the C550 for 50k.

So negotiated cost would come between 61-62k. Again, Iam not sure of the tax structure in bangalore, you should be asking someone who has acquired it from bangalore instead.

Thanks for the reply. I have not seen good reviews about Bajaj in mouthshut, anyway I will check with other dealers also.

Actually C650 model is not available anywhere in Bangalore. Thats why I am planning to buy fromm Hyd and bring it here.

Features: Full HD, 1:100000 Dynamic Contrast,
Supports .mkv and Divx HD. Has optical out, but no analog out.

LG Pk550 - 64K

I haven't decided yet... still researching...

I don't see PK550 in LG web site and as per Bajaj, it's discontinued.. what the heck.. it just got released.. what's cooking there.

Picked up Samsung 32C530 last fri at Rs36000/-
I believe I could have bargained more and bought it down by 1k more. Need to get better at the art.

PQ wise its pretty good with Hathway SD. Better than the DTH shown in the showrooms.
Positive surprise is the USB playback.
I can play from a portable HDD.
It plays pretty much any format I throw at it except AVCHD files.

Only negative I have found is the sound is not exceptionally good.

R u sure about contrast when I refer lg uk site it shows only 1:60000 contrast and only 2 hdmi port if it is so compare with samsung models it is not good deal.

After serious negotiation, I just got quote from a Panasonic dealer (K Square Network,Raja Garden) in New Delhi as :-

42C10 Plasma - 31000.00

Does anyone have a better deal going ?
