R u sure about contrast when I refer lg uk site it shows only 1:60000 contrast and only 2 hdmi port if it is so compare with samsung models it is not good deal.

Please - Dont ever think of getting a tv from the grey market. Instead I would say if this is your budget go for the Samsung 40c530 for Rs 48000 or the 40c550 for Rs 52000. Both prices are with Bill and Warranty.

Guys, Im a newbie to this forum. Im planning for a Plasma in next 3 weeks.
I was offered Panasonic 42C10 for 34K in Hyderabad and it is a demo piece. Is that a good deal?
Also, got Samsung PS42C450 for 42 K and LG 42PJ560 for 41.5 with Airtel DTH free.
I need to choose between the above in next 3 weeks time.
I'm leaning more towards LG PJ560 as it is a complete package as I dont have to buy HT right now and also it comes with DTH which I dont have now.
I'm only worried about the PQ in LG.
Can someone who knows all the three models let me know if LG PJ560 PQ is bad compared to Samsung and Panasonic?
For me all the three looked the same with DTH playing on them. C10 and C450 looked more brighter.
My usage is 75% cable/DTH content and 25% movies from USB.

Please help me choose.

I have seen all 3 as am buying one as well.
Sammy C450 is better in PQ than PJ560 imo. I was not particularly impressed with 560 when i got it played in SD. Hd looks ok nothing exceptional. but yes it has the advantage of sound over Sammy however a HT and TV are 2 different things and to compromise on PQ for better sound is not good atleast for me.

Also dont buy a demo piece. C10 is available around 33-36k and many people on the forum have bought it.

Also C450 has a usb slot and can play most formats so thats an advantage over Panasonic.

Rest check all three and select which you like most.

Go for Samsung 40c530 ( 40 inches ). It is the latest 2010 model from Samsung. It supports all of the movie formats through usb playback and is the closest to your budget. I have checked the tv myself and it has a pretty decent picture quality. The best price I have got for the tv in Delhi is 47000 Rs. I would suggest that dont be too critical about paying the maximum price of 45000. As per my research in the last few days there are not many good lcd's available within the range of 40-45000. I would suggest if you could stretch your budget to 50000 then number of choices in size 42 will increase.

Another model is LG 42ld460 (42 inches). This is another latest model from LG and is available for approx 44000 Rs in Delhi.

Out of the above two I would say Samsung is better.
