I haven't photographed the Tube amp setup. Will send you once I properly place them.

I could not resist , when I saw good quality records. I actually went for Malayalam LPs as they are very hard to get.
Then I saw good Hindi records and just grabbed everything he had with no compromise.
The records are becoming very rare to get nowadays... so just grabbing where ever I see...do not mind if I own them already.

Dear Ramesh,

Sorry for the late reply, as I am currently on Travel. Certainly I will do it for you and put a PM to you. I have got MSV's record back from my friend. But currently I am on Business related travel and out of Chennai. Also Ramamoothy' disc is in Trivandrum. So pl give me some time to get everything at one place and digitize. :)

Here are the album covers of the LPs that I found. I posted this in a new thread but unfortunately mis-labeled it. I was unable to edit the title hence I think I did not get replies. I hope the moderators do not consider this a breach of rules or etiquette to post these details here.
I know it is great music (as i have these on cd too) but as LPs I have no idea if they are sought after.
It is quite possible that these LPs are of no interest to anyone, of course.

Can not see the details in those pics. As there may be thousands of audiophile recordings, it will be difficult to tell which are very good. From Pictures I can see German pressing (last LP with Yellow box). I have heard some of these in my ordinary system and they sounded good. Easiest way would be to search these titles on the net.

Sorry for the late reply.
Lucky to find the records in a remote relative's home. :). Now got a special reason to visit many other relatives... ha . ha!!!

Even I searched places in Trivandrum, no trace of any good records. Months back, could trace a few in Chalai, but they were good for nothing.

Yesudas's Guruvayurappan songs by Tharangini records (probably released in the year 1991 or 1992) which contain a song "Anda Thadaagangal Chiragadiththunarumbol Agre pashyami" Its a wonderful collection of songs on Guruvayurappan in Malayalam. I had an audio cassette however lost it.
If you, by any chance have it please let me know. I tried searching the net but with no luck.

I am waiting to hear it again.

Belated Happy Diwali!!!
I got both the discs [MSV+Ramamoorthy] in Chennai now. Only to find a time to digitize. Since I travel between Chennai and TVM, it is getting delayed. But has not gone from the priority.
Unfortunately I do not have the said Guruvayoorappan song. We had it during our younger days at home... but lost all those tapes. hmmm!!! . Not only that, my father had most of all Tharangani tapes. Years gone.. now no one knows the existence of any of those tapes...
Let me hope. my child will take care of my collections....

I once had purchased the Swati Tirunaal Film songs from that shop last season.:yahoo:

Most probably he may find his album, this music season.

Advance Happy New year!!! Sorry for the late reply. Was busy with my office work. Did not log in for some days. Glad to hear that you have both the records. I would be grateful if you could digitise the same for me.

Its my loooooong time wait since i realised the importance, after losing the records.

I had been to Moore market (not sure of my spelling) behind Central station. I got hold of an Old HMV cone Gramaphone in working condition. I have got the cone buffed and lacquered and it looks majestic. I also bought couple of 78 rpm and 33 1/3 records. Some of them are:

Lips Inc
Beegees Live

The shop has lot of old record collection.

The Malayalam song from Tharangini "Andakatahangal Chirakatichunarunnu Agre Pasyami" was from Album Vanamala. I was able to get a link from THARANGNI ALBUMS: THARANGNI ALBUMS

One Mr. Manikandan was able to help me with the folder which contain the songs.
