Recomended Speakers Bose 2.1 Series

Hi ,

I have recently bought a Sony BX400 LCD TV, have complemented it with a media streamer(Iomega 1 TB) to play my content library.

I am a music lover , love to listen to all kinds of songs and also watch movies which offer a overall great experience.

I am looking at purchasing the Cinemate series , here is the link :The CineMate GS Series II Digital Home Theatre Speaker System

I am quite new to the concept of HD Audio / Video , don't want to feel stupid after a point of time and feel i have wasted my money , so wanted to take the inputs of the experts.

What would you guys advise , is the plan OK or i should look at better options.

Please advise.

My friend,
You need to first identify your requirement first. and think in a way like
- you require it for music or for movie (because stereo is good for music & multichannel setup is for movies).
- what kind of media you need to play on it(music : MP3, Audio CDs; movies : VCD & DVD with stereo sound or HD DVD, BRD with DD or DTS sound or HD movie file that you download from internet). and what is the source for playing your content.
- room size in which you are going to place your system

according to your preference decide you need to go for stereo or Multichannel setup. then decide your budget for that.

if stereo then go for setup like decent amplifier pair with BS/FS speakers accordingly

if multichannel then go for nice AVR with matching speakers(5.1 and so).

once your are sure about your requirement then according to that search in forum you will find many thread according to your need. if you get confuse after that then ask question here to remove it. definitely our audio gurus will guide you to give direction to your dream setup.:clapping:

keep searching and go for the setup that is true VFM
