Reg Blu ray,,DVD

Hey junta,
Iam planning to buy a Blu ray / DVD player for my HT,mostly for movies since i have a dedicated system for music,which would you suggest a blu ray or a DVD,around 8k is my budget,pls help.

Sony 370 is a good player. 2011 models should be out soon. The 480 should be priced similar or lower than 370. It has 3D playing capabilty.

Go for Blu ray if budget is Rs 8000/-......no point in buying DVD Players..........

Got my Sony BDPS380 from Amazon USA( Shopyourworld) , then used a step down. Cost 7.5 for Player + 500 rs for Step down , Total cost 8K. This is 2011 model, with playback from NTFS hdd, NO DLNA, no 3d and Wireless has to be purchased separately.

Avoid Sony if you can. It's infamous to reject pirated discs!
I think LG BD550 is avaliable for 5-6k.
