required suggestion about led tv

Swarna Surjya,
Both w800a and es6200 has same configurations but w800 will cost me 15-18 k more, why Sony and why not Samsung. IF 3d quality wise, 3 d viewing will be minimum like 3-4 times in a month max ( movies). I know you may say check with your senses then decide but I want TO know your experienced view also. Thanks

Sony TVs are costly and quite unnecessarily. That is a fact. Having said that, you cannot just say that w800a and es6200 are same without actual demo and in person comparison. If you have already done so, and you have reached the conclusion then ok, the choice should be clear - go for es6200. In my own estimate, the Sony w800a will be more near to the Samsung 7 series models in picture quality. Speaking of picture quality, let this be the only parameter for the "buy" decision, i.e., buy the TV with best PQ in the available budget.

As I have already told - let your senses drive your judging decision. Specs on paper may not transform to real performance. Pay a visit to a nearby shop and demo as much as possible. Let PQ be the deciding factor. Good luck

Thanks Swarna Surjya Chakraborty and just4kix for your helpfull and experienced advises. You know I bought a Samsung 32 es 6200 in January( 48 k with a Skype camera free) for my room after doing lots of comparisons but find it quite small after tv installed in room, I thought 32 inch will be ok and no one was there TO advice, still regret that I should have taken someone experienced advice but I wasn't aware of forum like this. Thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge and really appreciate your helping attitude.

You will soon find Shaiju Thomas reporting that 64" is too small. :ohyeah:

Lol. Are you into prophecy now?

My mom feels like being in a theater... (wait till I put on my Genelec). Movie lovers will always feel a tv screen is small. Next display I'll buy is mostly a projector. 64F8500 is all what I could ask for in tv but who knows what the future brings.

What prophecy? Pure logic and human nature, my dear sir.

Hello Swarna Surjya and j4k again and all forum members,
How is Sony hx 850 40 inch, I'm getting it in 70 k or w800a will be better which is around 80k. Please reply, thanks

Hi Jacob,

I appreciate your decision on SONY HX-850. Its really an awesoooome TV, perhaps one of the best TV released last year :clapping:. It is a lot better than W800 in 2D. 3D experience may lag due to active 3D.
But please remember to check the usage hours before taking a final call. It can be a Demo piece also.

Follow the process below for SONY Hours usage.

From Remote
Press:
Display (I+)
5
Volume -
Power
(In quick succession)

Gets you into the diagnostics screen which shows the hours.

The bottom left 5 numbers are the hours

Next 5 are boot count

and last 5 are the lcd panel hours.

PQ is simply excellent. From my side its a thumbs up
But please check the usage hours prior to taking the decision.
Read the thread directly dedicated to avoiding Demo Piece in the Television Main Page.

Need a treat from you as soon as you close the deal.:ohyeah:

IT is a display piece and that's why they are giving it in less price, I came to know it later. But tv is good and fits in my budget, what you advice

LED display piece is (a little) less of an issue vis-a-vis the display piece of a plasma TV. I would never buy a plasma display piece.

If there is no big physical scratches means you can go with your option. But book with extended warranty . or ask extended warranty from dealers. That will be a safe.HX850 is no 1 led model last year.Amazing pq .

Hi Jacob,
Bargain hard if it is a display piece and try to bring the price down to the maximum limit possible. Otherwise try to make them include extended warranty within the price you pay.

Hai Swarna Surjya,
That piece shown 3700 hours of usage it means it is been on display form many months, but condition is all right, there is one more piece hx 750 46 inch also display piece used for some more hours and they giving it at 75k that also look ok, what you advice should I buy one from it or look for other model fresh piece and how is hx 750, I can get 6 inch extra in 5 k, what you advice and other also please

Absolutely ridiculous even to think to buy a 3700 hrs used tv for 70k ,ask for 35k else drop the idea of buying it.add 20k to your budget of 70k and buy 40kdlw900 tv .It is not advisable to spend that much money to high used display tv,

AND bargaining I don't think they do at chroma, salesman told me they don't decided rates but comes from main office or something like that, I can try for extended warranty but they don't include panel (chroma warranty). KIndly tell me if someone has experience to bargain at chroma
