Right now I am listening to ...

@reju & @Rajiv - Thanks guys. Going to order from Amazon to start off with. Depending on how they fare will order more. Starting with The Blue Ridge Rangers, Centerfield, and Revival. They seem to have great reviews on Amazon too.

My favourite is Dire Straits. I have all their albums + all albums of Mark Knopfler the lead singer/ guitarist from the band. About 30 albums all together including bootlegs. The I have most of their/ his concerts on DVD too:)

Mine too. I have 10 Dire Straits albums, and 12 Mark Knopfler albums. Nothing on video though.

Disco Deewane, LP version

disco deewane is simply amazing. not heard for a long time. those songs give me the goose pimples!

Has anyone heard any of the solo works of John Fogerty the frontman of the defunct group Creedence Clearwater Revival? If so any views/reviews/thoughts appreciated. If it's any help I have all CCR albums and love them a lot.

You can try this album. New album with a vintage sound.

There's another great album by another old rocker. This is a live acoustic album with a mixture of old and new compositions.

Guys,

I have a request,

I see lot of you post lot of things.

Could do us a favour tell about the album, what type they are and what are the good numbers to listen and if only you could describe it will be helpful for us to think of acquiring them.

We have so much, but we are not happy, we want more and we want friends to tell us.

If only all of us could put the best of them and tell the rest why we should listen it will be useful.
Thank you

At the same time I would like to post

a band called Steve miller band. Not a favourite of mine but couple of their numbers are good. I still like my favourite which is the best for me(ME)

An ok album, her voice is great and she does play the piano well too. Just that I'm not too much into jazz. Very laidback and easy listening kind of music. Give me Daddy Cool anyday. For her kind of music Alicia Keys is much better IMHO.

Osibisa is a group I've been hearing from my childhood. We had LPs of most of their albums since it was a favorite group of my mom's along with Abba, Baccara and Carpenters. These 3 albums are a must in any collection. The music is awesome, the drums, instruments and the fusion. Really good music and must have like I said. Very pleasant and happy music too i.e. will have a pleasant and happy effect on you too. Go for it.

More of the vocals, piano, jazz stuff. Not much different from the very best of compilation not that the songs are the same though. I got this for her version of Besame Mucho as recommended on this forum and this is certainly a standout track.

@reju & @Rajiv - Thanks guys. I've ordered 3 albums of John Fogerty.

@myriad - Thanks, will check out Jackson Browne too.

BTW has anyone heard the other Fogerty brother "Tom Fogerty" and if so how does he compare/sound?
