if you're dabbling in modern classical music listen to amore by andre bocelli. its really nice. theres one song in it which is a duet with christina aguilera. amazing song. and shows what a musician she is and how versatile she can be

is it the one in which he sings Besame Mucho as well ? your right it is not just a nice album music wise but also a very good recording as well !

ya thats the one. and the recording is really good too. if recordings arent good where theres an orchestra involved it sounds terrible because of the number of instruments involved. very muddy. very often they've got a set up of atleast 70 musicians playing. so its really important that such albums are recorded well.

A friend gifted me this cd recently. Its simply fantastic.
BEST AUDIOPHILE VOICES - VOLUME ONE (Female Vocalists)
Its from Premium Records and is easily available in the US/Singapore.
Performing artists are Eva Cassidy, Alison Krauss, Carol Kidd,Jheena LOdwick, selena Jones and a few others.
Superb tracks and very good recording.

Hey dinyaar, this series is beautiful. I have managed to collect most of them. 1-5 atleast! Oh btw, there is male and female only ones along with the various artists. Its pure joy to listen to these in my marantz.

Get them, you wont regret the spend.

I'm not sure. I got most of my collection from abroad. Not tryin to be fancy here but I just like the whole process of buying CDs - physically checking them out in a shop, listening to them and then paying in hardcash. And I love unwrapping the flimsy plasctic covers, sliding them in to the tray, sinking into my couch with a glass of redwine anticipating how its gonna sound. Call me oldfashioned.

But if you find it hard go get, Amazon maybe?

track 2 is my absolute favourite ..vols 2/3/4 have not really got the same quality. the album recording is slightly "cooked" but really good none the less .

Now you're talking buddy. Nothing like spending hours in a music shop. Probably only thing that compares, betters or is on par would be hanging around an electronics megastore/mall. But nothing like going through a CD shop that is well stocked with great music playing in the background and you're left all alone to sort through and have your pick. Sheer bliss!!!

Worth the price of the CD for the brilliant "Hazard". Absolutely must have just for this one track alone, not that Richard Marx did/does a bad job with other tracks, but this one is in a different league.

This one is worth it's price just for the ballad "Right Here Waiting". Great track, will have you humming along. Makes a case for getting Richard Marx's greatest hits/best of compilation at the very least especially if it also has the track "Hazard".

Love that album! Marx has more edge and has a rocky feel on this than his usual mush. Tops!

Am sure they are great Unleash. I only have Vol. 1 and will soon borrow Vol 2. The rest i will try to find. Hey at the moment i too have a Marantz Amp(PM 11S2) and i like it quite a bit. If they had a firmer lower end it would rival tons of pricier 'super amps'.

And I am lucky that in Pune we have Oceanic Sound and Vision! Well stocked- Yes, Great music playing in the background Yes, always! and you're left all alone to sort through-This is the way they work!

And further the owner Mahendra and his staff, especially Mr Vikram both are very polite, and always around to help you and above all, both are very knowledgeable (music, music system components, system setup, acoustics and what not!) and come with tons of patience.

You just pick a CD and they will play it for you with no obligation to buy!! (this itself had saved tons of Rs over past several years becausethat way I can buy only those CDs those I like)

They remember your music interests and suggest you titles accordingly. Like an expert financial consultant they both helped me a lot in building my Music portfolio over the years.

And at the end , how can I forget the nice cup of tea (Sugar free , specially ordered for me, they remember my Diabetes too!) What else one could ask for?

Tough to select but for me personally one of Eric Clapton's must have albums. Only Layla is missing, but this CD is awesome for the terrific ballad Wonderful Tonight.
